That was disgusting. But seems to be the norm around here. We dominated the first half of the last 2 games, if we find a way to win both or at least one we're 5-1 or 4-2 going into the bye. We can't finish a game and that goes back to coaching. Teams go in at half time and make adjustments to us. For the life of me, I can't understand what we do at halftime, maybe take a smoke break, not sure. Norv keeps tryin to stretch the field, we don't have that type of offense anymore.
Rivers was brutal, on most of his passes he's running backward throwing the ball. We have holes at DB and O line and it showed last night. Bottom line is that if you keep doing the same thing, you're always gonna be the same team. The one constant around here is Norv. That says a lot

They can say hi all they want, Raiders screwed up by leaving too much time on the clock and then going to prevent defense. Yeah Palmer threw that costly pick that was returned for a TD but he drove the Raiders down the field for the tying TD.

I've never seen a choke job like Phillip Rivers did last night.

Get at me when the Raiders blow a lead like that and the qb is throwing mad INTs.

cant talk shit about a team choking when your team did it just hours prior.
why not? it's not even in the same category. the Raiders were in a close game on the road against a far superior oppoenent, and they lost by a FG in the final seconds. sure you can call it a choke job, but that type of game happens in the NFL every Sunday. going up 24-0 against an evenly matched division opponent in your house and then getting outscored 35-0... losing by double digits... THAT shit doesn't happen too often. pretty sure they said it's the first time a team was up by that many points and lost by double digits.

I'm not trying to act like the Raiders are better than the Chargers or anything, because I know that's not the case... just saying how terrible of a choke job that was, even if we lightweight choked on Sunday... because it's not even comparable, like I said before

I was there at the game and let me tell you at half time i was like hellll yeah taking shots, buying everybody burritos at the food trucks...lol..went back to my seat for the second half and nearly threw up...

......the last two games should be W's...the bye week is much needed to correct MAJOR things..like not throwing the ball to the other team..oline issues and more..bolts got the browns after the bye so i wanna see how this team rebounds

Chargers facing sanctions for illegal use of stickum

As one cheating scandal lingers, another one has emerged.

Jay Glazer of FOX reports that the Chargers are facing stiff punishment after officials confiscated during Monday night’s game against the Broncos a towel that contained a substance that has been banned by the NFL for decades: Stickum.

Per Glazer, an equipment manager brought the towel onto the field during a timeout. Something caught the attention of one of the officials, one thing led to another, and now the Chargers face a large fine and possibly the loss of one or more draft picks for cheating.

It remains to be seen who knew what and when and how many were involved, but the smartest move for anyone questioned by the league will be to tell the truth.

Stickum, once a popular substance that was used liberally by players like Raiders receiver Fred Biletnikoff and cornerback Lester Hayes, provides a competitive advantage by helping a guy catch the football. Or, perhaps more accurately for all too many NFL receivers, not drop it.
