Zero, I think you might be able to help me with this. I'm watching Netflix Instant Que on my laptop and trying to watch Mad Men in HD. When I click the HD thing at the bottom it has a check box to allow for HD. I have it checked but right above it, it says 'Not playing HD.' Randomly it'll switch to HD but I can't seem to get it to switch on command.

It completely depends on what your ISP is willing to provide you, from what I understand. That button just says "I would like to see this in HD if possible", really.

Netflix wants you to see that shit in HD but ISP's don't want to stream all that info so they lag your connection a bit.
