My teacher yesterday told me after a spoken word exercise in speech class that I should become an actor and play Lennie in the local theater's rendition of Of Mice & Men.
I chose the song Midlife Crisis by Faith No More, and acted it out with bitterness and sarcasm like if I were finally breaking away from someone who had been putting me down.
I looked up the Lennie character and he's a large, soft-hearted albeit almost retarded character. The plus to that is John Malkovich played the character in the 1992 movie.
I'm gonna do it.
