No excuses man the Cavs just lost plain and simple....they gave up the lead similar to what Denver did last night against LA and let Orlando hang around and they eventually took the lead.....LeBron played his heart out though he tried his best to lead his team to victory...overall, the Magic just played better down the stretch and shot the lights out from the 3 point line.....Even with Howard out, Hedo, Lewis, and Pietrus stepped up and hit shots when Orl needed them....the Magic also played great defense down the stretch as well....Can't say the same for the Cavs outside of that Mo Williams 3 and that Delonte West 3 If Cle is gonna' win this series Bron's supporting cast HAS TO STEP UP and not play the 1st half then dissappear til it's like 2 mins left in the 4th

They need to move the ball around more and stop getting stagnant and watchin' LeBron play 1 on 1

just like chuck said. fatigue will play its role on lebron. he cant do it by himself this whole series even tho he did it against easier matchups (ATL, DET). magic got a better bench. magic will win the series.

I know you can. Lebron's supporting cast sucked, but I blame him for that last possession as well. He knows he's gonna get the foul called and was more focused on being a facilitator.
WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER IF HE COULD HAVE MADE HI$ LA$T FREE THROW$. CLUTCH NOT THERE YET.

ridiculous...how can anyone knock Lebron at all...he can't make everything and do everything himself.

Good thing I guess is that I haven't seen them play that badly in a while. Lots of missed shots and no ball movement.

FOLKS CAN SAY THE MAGIC WONT SHOOT THAT WELL EVERY NIGHT OR EVEN IN ANOTHER GAME BUT LEBRON MOST LIKELY WONT SCORE 49 AGAIN. SERIES IS OVER IF THE CAVS DONT WIN GAME 2

... In fact, it is widely accepted that Kobe was better at the age of 24.
Please, not this stupid argument again...

And Orlando won't win this series. They rely on that 3 ball too much...

It's not like they play any D ...

And before you go off on D Howard being Defensive Player of the Year:

Howard didn't have a single block in that game because Big Z is a perimeter player and Howard can't camp around the basket and help on cutters or when cats get beat on the perimeter. Expect that to be the case the entire series unless Orland goes zone.

haha...widely accepted? By who?

Nice choice of words though.....
Sports writers and fans of the sport who are NOT either Kobe haters or Lebron/Cavs "loyalists", if you will. I certainly could and probably should have chosen better words but Kobe was already winning titles (three at 24 I believe) at that age.

People can say "Well he had Shaq.." to which I will respond by naming every championship team and how such and such had "X" on their team. People will say "LeBron is doing it by himself.." (which he isn't) to which I will reply "So did Iverson with the 76ers", woopty..

Until someone can invent a way to insert 24 year old Kobe into 2009 and see how he stacks up against 24 year old Lebron, get out of here with that fantasy island bullshit... :eyecross:

Well thats fine and dandy if u admit u hate LeBron etc.. but dont try to sneak in shots and be sly!! Just say what u say and move on, but now I know so I will remember that!! And about the Mets/Dodgers I only went into the giants thread because I hate the Giants as they already know and all my folks are giants fans so its always for bragging rights!! But The Dodgers are fine with me and I dont know to many Dodger fans so I wasnt trippin off posting in your thread!! Yall still aint winning shit this year anyway!! Got Em!!

Everyone IS NOT saying Lebronze is better than Kobe. In fact, it is widely accepted that Kobe was better at the age of 24.
Bwhahahahahhaah!! U still here?? LeBron is better than Kobe at 24, 25, 26 and so on!! Stop it!! Got Em!!
