LeBron will never be as good as Kobe... end of discussion. If LeBron was better than Kobe he would have willed his team into the finals so he could square off against Kobe and prove who was better.

These playoffs proved who the better player is and will be, period.
What? That is an asinine statement. For one, b-ball is a TEAM sport. Did you forget that?

So if the Lakers lose to the Magic, that means Dwight is better than Kobe? That is per YOUR logic...and you sound like a bafoon.

As long as Dwight Howard is in the East, LeBron can forget about winning a championship. Dwight is going to continue to own LeBron!
Oh you can predict the future now? What if LeBron gets sidekick like Jordan had Pippen? Then what? More asinine statements from you. That never happens.

Besides, Dwight's supporting cast decided to actually help him, while Lebron's teammates mentally collapsed and played like a bunch of HS girls. That is not Lebron's fault, that is the COACHES fault, period.

LeBron will never be as good as Kobe... end of discussion. If LeBron was better than Kobe he would have willed his team into the finals so he could square off against Kobe and prove who was better.
Uhhhh....you do realize that Lebron is only 24...right? So again, what makes you Ms. Cleo? How do you know how good he will be? Wasnt Lebron the youngest to 2000 points or some shit?

How can someone "will" a entire team? If his players are missing shots, he cant do anything about that, even though he tried by scoring 40+ the last 3 games. Even JORDAN had help outside of Pippen.

You should stick to football....

We're talking the MVP of the league here... who was on the best team in the league. Why dog his teammates out now? Did LeBron lead the Cavs to 60+ wins by himself? How did he average so many assist if his teammates weren't making shots? Y'all have some weak arguments... everytime LeBron loses it's always "he doesn't have help".... please. How many times did LeBron commit crucial turnovers against the Magic? He needs to step his game up and make shots when his team needs him to.

people seem to forget basketball involves a complete TEAM... Lebron teard it up and did his part.. det and atl where soft enough for him to handle em himself.. magic gave the cavs a run for their money.. Lebron is still simply the best player in this league today and is only gonna get better at this age..

Lebron and Kobe should jus play a one on one for mutha fuckaz to realize whose better lol....

people actin as if Kobe came into the league same season as Lebron or somethin.. Kobe got plenty of more NBA games under his belt and championship rings with the help of one of the best centers in the game who was the lakers "MAN" until he left.. Shaq.. Lebron is already tearin shit up.. dnt get the hate

Nah mayne, Kobe is still the best player in the league. LeBron has to win at least one championship before he can be considered the best player. Nobody was talking bad about the Cavs' team after the season was over and they were the number one seed throughout the playoffs. Now that they've been eliminated everyone wants to talk about how LeBron doesn't have a good enough team. They were good enough to win 60+ games and sweep their first two playoff opponents. And I don't see LeBron improving too much. He doesn't have what it takes "mentally" to win championships. He should watch how Kobe leads his team to victory over the Magic and take notes.

Lebron is a human stat sheet I'll give you that. he may pass Kobe in all the stat columns and thats fine. Correct me if im wrong but im quite sure Jordan doest lead in all those stat column either. MJ is 3rd in pts, not even in the top 30 in rebounds, not even in the top 30 in assists, 2nd in steals, and not even in the top 30 in blocks. Hmm, yet he is widely considered the best player to ever step on the hardwood. Why? Because he knew how to WIN. He knew how to close important games to WIN, to do whatever it takes to WIN. Get the picture?

I'll take rings over stats any day and twice on sunday and so would ever real competitor. thus, at the end of the day, 24 > 23 (of LeBron)

You can not compare the two until they retire, end of the story........

Its funny when this comparison happens and people use the "IF'S". If Lebron had this, If Lebron had that. Just give it up. If you are a Cavs or Lebronzes fan, you think Bron is better. If you are a Lakers or Kobe fan, you think Kobe is better. They are both great players. Just injoy their games. Why are you so caught up in who's better? You should be interest in how can Lebron win a championship. That is more important. Being the best player doesn't mean anything if you don't win a championship.

And?

who was on the best team in the league.
Yes, he was on the team that won the most GAMES in the regular season, that doesn't necessarily mean he was on the BEST team.

Why dog his teammates out now?
Maybe because they fell FLAT on there faces come the finals. Did you even WATCH any of the games? Lebron got NO help from the supposed "best team in the league"...NONE. Best in reg season does not + best in playoffs. Ask the Yankees about that.

Did LeBron lead the Cavs to 60+ wins by himself?
No.

How did he average so many assist if his teammates weren't making shots?
And here you go, making up your own criteria for an argument. No ones is saying the Cavs didnt perform WELL in the reg season, but they FAILED TO PERFORM IN THE PLAYOFFS. Are we clear here?

Y'all have some weak arguments...
Dont even go there, buddy.

everytime LeBron loses it's always "he doesn't have help".... please.
Thats because maybe in the losses, he really DIDNT have any help? Stop looking at the big picture and start looking at individual games.

How many times did LeBron commit crucial turnovers against the Magic? He needs to step his game up and make shots when his team needs him to.
Didnt he score 40 points three straight games in a row? How about you tell his TEAMMATES TO STEP UP AND HELP HIM.

Kobe was a 19 year old rookie fresh out of high school taking it to Jordan (when Jordan was still on the Bulls).
"Taking it to Jordan"? As in he was schooling him? Is this a joke? You have proof to back that up?

LeBron would get schooled trying to go head up with Kobe....
Again with these predictions. How do you know? You dont, so STFU.

Please, stick to the one sport you half ass know (football) instead of trying to speak on shit you CLEARLY have no idea as to what you are talking about (Lebron, basketball).

It's not worth the effort guys, Tony is fucking retarded. Arguing with him is like arguing with a brick wall - you won't get anywhere. I admire his persistence though, I think he's hoping one day he'll actually be right at something

IMO coaching is the reason the Cavs are sitting at home right now. There entire offense consisted of Lebron holding the ball and trying to create something everytime. During the regular season Lebron played off the ball alot and Mo Williams created. They completely abbandoned what worked for them in the regular season. If I'm Lebron I lobby to get a point gaurd in the offseason who can get that team out and run and can also create shots in the half court. *cough* Jason Kidd *cough*
