i was watching something the other night and they had one dude from espn on there and he thinks the raiders will be the 2nd best team in the division this year but the guy from espn what the hell do he know i hope we do good tho

you know iron for someone who likes the niners you sure are in the raiders thread alot u sure u dont secretly like the raiders and bandwagoned to the niners when things got bad

Raiders' Schilens suffers broken foot in practice

Chaz Schillens, projected to be one of the Oakland Raiders' top two receivers this season, broke a bone in his left foot while running a route during Tuesday's joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers.
Raiders coach Tom Cable didn't provide a timeline for when Schillens might return, but such an injury would likely sideline Schillens at least a month. He has been a major bright spot in the receiving corps this training camp.

Schillens said he was uncovered when he made a cut and felt a sharp pain. He broke the fifth metatarsal in his foot and left after practice on crutches.

The 23-year-old Schillens made six starts for the Raiders during his rookie season in 2008, making 15 catches for 226 yards and two touchdowns.

damn sucks for you guys. I was actually going to write here after the game that i thought this kid looked good...reallly good, but couldnt bring myself to say anything nice about a raiders player....hehehe

I feel ya. I find it hard giving other teams propz myself. Guess this makes for good news for the AFC west.

Well, hopefully some1 else steps they game up. We need to imrove to atleast 5-6 wins this year.....
