Fargas in pot-smoking contest promo?
Raiders running back Justin Fargas could have some explaining to do with team officials, and possibly the league office, regarding a video unearthed by profootballtalk.com today.
Fargas makes a cameo appearance in a video promoting a "Smoke-a-thon" as a man called Yukmouth visits Fargas' house carrying what appears to be a large blunt and a bag of pot.

Fargas isn't doing anything but standing on his balcony, and he says a few words about "nothing going down unless Yukmouth's in town". He isn't smoking marijuana or holding anything. Unlike Snoop-Dogg, Fargas is not listed as a contestant in the contest.
Still, his appearance in a video promoting a pot-smoking contest very well could draw a call from the league office, if not at least Raiders assistant Willie Brown, who advises players on their off-the-field going-ons.
On the football side, this will do nothing to hurt or help Fargas' trade value because, as it stands, the Raiders have no interest in trading him.
Raiders owner Al Davis indicated as much in Wednesday's press conference, saying he still has to see what Darren McFadden can do after an injury-plagued rookie season.
Besides that, Fargas has a lot of wear and tear on his oft-injured body. Teams simply won't give up a decent draft pick for Fargas at this stage of his career.

the guy is just ridiculous though. hiring coaches before deciding on cable. either he is lying or absolutely insane. i'm happy to stick with cable. he has a place in his heart for the raiders. although i'm in disagreement with the insanity going on in the upper management, cable wont let guys throw in the towel and he has balls. fuck it, im adding atleast one more ticket to my package.

I justed wanted to see Cable say he hired his staff thats all not saying he did but if things go bad as they have the past six years it will be on him cuz he sat and let Al say that they were Cables choices. In a way I feel they hired cable so at the end of this year they can fire him because all the big name coachs that are out there said they were not going to coach this year and he would be easy to drop if Al thought he could get somebody big in there. But like I said hope for the best but would not put anything passed Al Davis.
