Pending trades. I think...

The Raiders will take McFadden in the 1st. and they dont have 2nd or a 3rd so im not gonna go above that

The 49ers will take DeSean Jackson in the 1st, Quentin Groves in the 2nd, Anthony Collins in the 3rd

atlanta gonna have one of the best drafts in the league again this year. atlanta and indy are the only 2 teams to still have all the picks from the last 2 drafts still on the roster.

I think the Raiders will trade down a few spots (with a team that wants McFadden really bad) and then get Sedrick Ellis and an extra pick in the process.

I think Dorsey is going to go number 2 to the Rams and Chris Long will get swooped up by the Chiefs. McFadden will get picked at number 4 to a team that traded picks with the Raiders.

i changed it. now i say aqib talib goes to the bucs and becomes the new starter opposite ronde barber.

and yeah, jon gruden likes big, tall wrs, i understand that. but he has joey galloway, who is doing a good job in tampa bay. and since joey galloway is a dinosaur, then maybe he's finding his replacement.

i know gruden likes bigger and more physical wrs, but the last two big receivers the buccaneers have had (michael clayton- 6'4", 215 and maurice stovall- 6'5", 220) haven't been doing shit. only clayton had a productive rookie year and has been ghost ever since. their only big receiver they have right now is tight end alex smith.

and the only thing that has been productive for them has been joey galloway and ike hilliard, who are both fossils.

but anyways, like i said, i changed the pick to aqib talib.

i know it's a reach, but damn, the cardinals have no egde pass rusher. their pass rush is almost non-existent, aside from darnell dockett, who is playing defensive tackle.

they got bert berry, who is a good pass rusher in a 4-3 scheme, that hasn't been able to make the conversion to outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme...not to mention that he's been injury prone.

chike okeafor is another defensive end of the cardinals who they have tried to convert into an outside linebacker. he too was a decent pass rusher who hasn't made an impact at outside linebacker because he missed last season due to a bicep injury.

with quentin groves being selected by the cardinals, ken whisenhunt will have his version of joey porter as he was accustomed to seeing when he was in pittsburgh.

no offense, but vernon gholston to the raiders doesn't make much sense to me.

i'm not saying that the raiders won't pick him up, because there is a chance...

but they have kalimba edwards and derrick burgess, who, like vernon gholston, are known for being pass rushers.

i feel that although the raiders have spent a lot of money towards tommy kelly's contract, they should invest in defensive lineman like chris long or glenn dorsey to anchor the run defense. the raiders have a lot of potential to become a very good defense next year, and adding a defensive lineman who can improve the raiders' run defense will definitely help them reach their potential.

Yeah, of course we need another corner, Walt Harris is getting older, and spencer is better suited for a tampa defense....

Btw, who else is going to the 49er draft party tomorrow? I am :)

AIN'T NO WAY THAT DESEAN JACKSON FALLS TO THE NINERS SOMEBODY IS GONNA REACH FOR HIM I SAY THE BILLS
if the bills pick desean jackson, then they're stupid. seriously, it would make no sense at all.

desean jackson is the same speed, deep threat receiver that lee evans is, and they also have a punt returner/kick returner in the same mold as him with roscoe parrish...the bills need a big, physical receiver, which is why i had them draft devin thomas.
