Told you I knew they was gonna fail with his gimmick but ill admit i see a lil more confident in alberts work though then before this time around. Thing about when New japan wrestlers and luchadors go to wwe most usually dont get over bc they styles dont get accepted in teh by wwe universe look at taijiri, tiger ali singh, yoshi, sin cara, tiger chung lee, super crazy etc

They shouldve had him comeback as giant benard now thing is i dont see no way they could change him from tensai ro benard without ruining him all together unless they do something like take him off tv for few months in a angle where he got suspened or fired for injuring someone then let him comeback as benard. guess we will see what happens but I have a feeling he wont be this current character for too much longer.
High end technical stuff will never be accepted by WWE fans. Stick the same wrestlers in ROH or any indi with actual pro wrestling fans then its a whole nother story. Yoshi for example... a really good young lion in NJPW but now he's forced to work an american style + never get a push.

As far as bernard goes.... he's fucked with the gimmick. They are trying to turn big brutal dude like bernard into a swift ninja like character like Muta. WWE is just constantly making poor choices. It really makes you wonder what goes through creatives mind when they do this shit. I mean just look at Funkasaurus "YOU ARE A HUGE MONSTER HEEL!?! WELL.... LETS DRESS YOU UP IN A RED TRACK SUIT AND GET YOU SOME DANCERS!"

Unfortunately fire is too extreme for TV these days, remember SPIKETV's lame ass bullshit a few years ago censorin James Storm's fireball on Jeff Hardy? Had to go to TNA's website to see the shit.

yeah they work they ass off as wrestlers in japan and over seas i wont deny that. but for some reason in wwe u not getting over unless u have a basic moveset. notice wrestlers like beniot & eddie, rey worked they ass off in wcw and they was unpredictable in them matches but when they came to wwe they had to tone it down to the same basic moveset each match. i just heard a interview with jake the sanke talking about that

Didnt know that thanks for the info. Thats a shame Fuji was a damn good manager, his throwin salt into people's eyes was a classic move. Definetly one of the better foreign objects/weapons used in wrestling.
theres a mr fuiji shoot interview out there probaly on youtube. i i heard it in stream a while ago and he talked about wat happened why he in a wheel chair i cant remember it was either bad knees or hip. he talked about some the bitches he fucked on the road and he talked about yokozuna

Of course. Thats a subject i have brought up before. The thing is most WWE fans are just that...WWE fans. Most are there for the "entertainment" aspect and probably don't even know about ROH or anything else. It makes sense for them to tone it down and keep a basic move set for people who can't sit still for an actual pro wrestling match. Cena and Hogan are perfect examples of this. a set of 5 moves a piece but the crowd goes ape shit when they hit their moves. They could both rock the mat (especially hogan) but it won't happen in the US that often. I would love to see WWE in japan just to see if they put in more effort.

I think beniot only toned it down due to age and health. His style didn't change all that much in-between starting NJPW and eventually getting into WCW by the time he got into WWE he was still pretty much doing the same shit. Eddie however was a fucking monster in NJPW under the Black Tiger gimmick.... Murdering everyone with nasty brain busters like its his fucking job to spike people on their head. I liked that eddie better than when he was just a luchador
