At least we won't have to worry about it happening cause it aint going to. Lol. But like I said, about 75% of the LA "fan base" are retards. There are a lot that are solid fans though that keep it real and actually follow what they're rootng for...not try to find what the cool team to cheer on, buy a vintage hat of a team where they know no players, and stick a flag on their car.

I know damn well the geographics, and it aint what my point is...there's fake fans everywhere, from Anaheim to LA to Santa Monica to Buena Park to Cypress to Cerritos to La Mirada to Whittier to Santa Fe Springs to Long Beach to Newport Beach to Santa Ana to Culver City and every other damn city out here. The giants showed last season that all they need is 1-2 solid bats in the lineup with what they already have, and they'll be able to contend in the west..pablo sandoval pretty much proved he can hit 20-25, plus villalona (the next miguel cabrera) and buster posey will be here in 1-2 years, so the future is looking bright, and thats not to mention the two lincecums that are in the minors waiting for their shot..if we can acquire prince fielder & jj hardy or dan uggla plus another bat then its gonna be a two team race between the giants and dbacks next season, cuz LA, SD, and CO won't be factors..
and YOU'RE fuckin dilusional if u think that your dodgers were goin to the playoffs anyway..manny showed up and put that team on his back, thats the only reason why, and you know that so quit frontin like thats not the case..

We'll see what happens next season, but for anyone to think that Manny Didnt have anything to do with the dodgers going to the playoffs theyre delusional. How many times did manny not come thru CLUTCH. The dodgers werent even doing so hott until manny came over. He hit 17 hrs he had 53 rbi's in 53 games.. that means that every game he played in the regular season he batted in atleast 1 run.
um he was, and for that people started thinking MVP. lol

Report: Dodgers, Jones agree to restructure contract
The Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to trade or release outfielder Andruw Jones in exchange for his deferring much of the $22 million remaining on his contract, a baseball source told the Los Angeles Times.
The arrangement is expected to cut Jones' salary next season to about $5 million, saving the Dodgers $12 million in 2009 payroll expense. If the Dodgers cannot trade Jones then he can ask for his release before spring training, the paper reported Friday.
The Dodgers could apply the freed-up cash toward a new offer to retain free agent Manny Ramirez. The club offered Ramirez two years and $45 million in November but have since withdrawn the offer. They have resumed talks with agent Scott Boras, who also represents Jones.
The Dodgers signed Jones last winter to boost the offense, but he hit .158 with three home runs in 75 games. The five-time All-Star reported to camp overweight, underwent knee surgery in May and ended the season on the bench.
The National League West champions have cut their payroll from $119 million on opening day last season to a projected $65 million in 2009, pending any additions.
For years the best CF I have ever seen may be out of a job in 2009. He has lost his way!
