damn dodgers dissapointed me on todays game. allowed the mets to scored 3 runs in the 8th inning. we had this game, dodgers are 3-7 in the last 10 games and were only 3 games back from first place d-backs.... arizona struggling 2.....

kuroda with the complete game shutout...4 hits, 11 Ks, no walks...that was a joy to watch

aside from that last outing in new york, kuroda has been our best pitcher. i hope he keeps it up.

oh yeah and we got angel berroa today too (he's assigned to vegas but will most likely come up in the next couple days)...hu will go down to vegas to play everyday

not the impact move alot of people were looking for, but it can't hurt since hu hasn't hit for shit since he's been up.

laroche is probably gonna get called up soon too

LOS ANGELES -- In the absence of Rafael Furcal, the Dodgers moved to bolster their shortstop depth on Friday by trading for 2003 American League Rookie of the Year Award winner Angel Berroa, sending Class A shortstop Juan Rivera to Kansas City.

Technically, Berroa was assigned to Triple-A Las Vegas, but that is procedural to avoid the club being shorthanded Friday night. He is expected to be promoted to the Dodgers as soon as Saturday, most likely with Chin-lung Hu being sent to play every day at Triple-A.
