i'm not impressed with any other big men projected in the first round.

too bad we cant give the nets our pick for this next draft, cuz it looks pathetic.

since pau joined the lakers, he doesnt face up as often but that doesnt mean he isnt capable. when he was on memphis he did everything.

dirk has gotten tougher over the last couple years and posts more often now, but when u shoot 40% from 3's and are 7 feet tall, of course it makes sense to float around. he does avg over 8 boards per game and nearly a block and a half per game, so obviously he plays in the post too.

neither player only does one or the other, they are both versatile and capable.

regardless, next years draft sucks ass and you left off a top 5 pick who looks to be the most skilled big man in the draft.

i dont believe he is a top 5 pick and he looks skilled against euros'. not against the dwight howards, amare, bosh, boozer, david west's of the leagues. dude was rated as a top 5 prospect going into the season and its ranked like 7 right now. i dont want that guy at all. period.

college kids arent playing against D12, amare, bosh, boozer either. euros are more skilled than college kids.

they have us drafting some other bum at number 5. the goofball at 11 transfered to a tougher league which will help him in the long run even tho he is struggling right now. they said the main thing holding him back is lack of strength.

i'd rather have a player that has potential, like randolph.

than a bum, like patrick o'bryant.

either way, next years draft wont be much help, we need to trade or sign someone.

in regards to this current season, we need to get nellies record over with so he can retire.

has Donatas Motiejunas at #3 to philly

and us taking Al-Farouq Aminu at #5

http://www.nbadraft.net/players/al-farouq-aminu

Strengths: Small Forward with a terrific frame with a 7-foot plus wing span and great agility ... Excellent versatility with the ability to do it all ... Has bigtime potential and should be a factor the minute he steps onto campus at Wake Forest ... Has a nice set of skills offensively with the ability to create shots off the dribble ... Terrific form on his jump shot ... Ball handling is very good for a 6-8 small forward ... Has range out to three point ... A quality rebounder with the ability to rip down a board and go coast to coast ... Uses ball fakes well and has good moves around the basket ... Long arms make him a good shot blocker and rebounder ... Early in his high school career, he was a post player so his post up skills are very good for a 3, a skill that will come in handy at the NBA level ... Has no positional questions, as his skills and size are perfect for the small forward position ... Great in the open floor utilizing his speed athleticism and body control well ... Very quick off his feet and dunks without needing much momentum towards the rim ... High motor guy with great focus and intensity ...

sounds solid. i'd rather have this kid now, a 6-8 small forward with a 7 foot wingspan. they rated his potential a 10, so i like that obviously. his weaknesses arent that bad and he plays with intensity.

towards the end of the season i have a feeling Monta will take some games off just to rest that is of course if hes healthy. Hopefully no serious injurys happen, been bad enough already

and to clarify, i never said i wanted the lithuanian goofball. i just added him to hella numbs list of top prospects as the most skilled power forward in the draft.

and while we need a power forward, it doesnt appear the answer is in the draft.

that small forward sounds like a reasonably safe pick with high potential.

while this season has been awful and plagued by injuries...

Monta has emerged as a superstar and should be an all star

Curry continues to improve and is in the running for ROY

and hopefully it nellie's last year

and even if we dont trade maggette, we will have some money this offseason. which is partly why this season sucked so bad cuz they traded for so many injured expiring players.

nbadraft.net hasnt been good for about 4 years now.

and really? "euros are more skilled than college kids."

how many college kids go pro compared to euros?

how many college kids actually are good pros?

how many euros are good pros?

ur a fuckin idiot. keep slurping on some 7 foot square who is a soft sack of shit.

and patrick o'bryant didnt have potential? really? cus all i heard was he was a athletic 7 footer who can run the floor like a gazelle and has the chance to be really good. just his work ethic limited him to being a wack ass pro.

and fuck potential, id rahter have a player who produced in college in the tournament or in tough conferences. fuck a euro soft swirl.

lets go in order here again.

monta a superstar? he's gotta be a all star first. hes not even close to a house hold name that defines a superstar.

curry has zero shot at ROY. its a 2 man race with evans and jennings and evans is far ahead.

nellies last year? he is still under contract for one more season at $6 million. so unless the warriors wanna bite the bullet and eat $6 mill then hire another coach for around another million or 2. nelson aint going anywhere. unless he somehow takes it upon himself to walk away from that money or role. and u aint screwing nellie out of millions (see mark cuban).

and cap space?:

Golden State: Oh lord. No matter what, Warriors fans cannot expect to have the space to make a splash in the 2010 free agent pool if the current roster comes even close to staying in its current state. This has stayed true even after Stephen Jackson was effectively dumped for expirings, since Monta and Biedrins combine to make $20 million and Maggette will make over $9M all by himself. Depending on what management wants to do, the Warriors can dramatically affect the market for other teams thanks to over $10 million in expiring contracts (Speedy Claxton, Raja Bell, and Devean George). Adding some long-term salary in exchange for talent and picks could both make this team better and make another franchise into legit 2010 free agent contenders.
• Projected 2010 Salary [Ellis, Biedrins, Maggette, Ronny Turiaf, Stephen Curry, Brandan Wright, Anthony Randolph, Anthony Morrow’s qualifying offer, Kelenna Azubuike’s player option, and Vladimir Radmanovic’s player option]:
• Projected cap room: $2.5M

unless we do something we are looking at around 2.5 mill, there is always room for trades tho.
