This trade doesn't make the Warriors better by any stretch of the imagination. I guarantee by the middle of next week all of you guys wishing for this trade will be dogging Raja Bell and Vladimir Radmanovic for the mediocre players that they are. Neither one of them answer any of the problems we have. Raja Bell is just another swingman and he is shorter by three inches than Jackson. And Radmanovic is softer than a baby's bottom. Hopefully these guys have been brought here to strengthen an Ellis trade package. Yeah, I said it, it's time to trade Ellis for something before it's too late. He is not the PG of the future, and he is too small at the Shooting Guard spot.
Yeah im down with the Ellis Trade......Lets move all 3 of these clowns.....

no shit it doesnt make the warriors better. ur best player on the team asks in public to be traded, so everyone low balls u cus they know he wants out and you are tryin to get rid of him. this was probably the best trade that could of happend. raja is an expiring contract, plus he is pretty good himself. vlad rad is about 1.5 million cheaper per year then jackson and only has 2 years while jackson has 3. this gives us lots of cap relief while adding a defense minded wing player who could show our team how grown men play basketball and not bitch.

this trade isn't going to immediately make the warriors a better team, but it puts them in the position to become a better team, not only chemistry wise, but definately from the financial standpoint... they are lucky to get rid of that contract jackson has, although they are the idiots that gave it to him......

unfortunately for us warrior fans it may be a while before we become a winning team........

SELL THE WARRIORS NOW... we need to revamp the whole front office and leadership/decision makers in this franchise....

bring back MULLY lol

i still can see jackson being moved again with like tyson chandler to cavs or someone. i think they gotta wait 30 or 60 days before he can get traded again.
I think its just 24 or 48 hours or some shit. I remember when Sheed got traded to the Hawks, played a game, then got traded to the Pistons. ROFL

Raja Bell, who was traded to Golden State on Monday, came very close to having surgery to repair a torn ligament in his wrist just before the start of the season, but chose to play through the injury.
Bell has been playing in pain and we're starting to wonder if passing a physical might be a problem. In addition, if he's unhappy about going to Golden State, he could easily elect to shut it down for four months and have the surgery that he was putting off in Charlotte. If he plays you have to think he'll put up solid numbers in GSW, but there's also a chance he could shut it down. Either way, Anthony Morrow's future is looking a little brighter today.

It's official. Raja Bell would rather get surgery than play for the Warriors. The Warriors tried to stick it to Jackson by sending him to play with the Bobcats, and now Bell is shutting him self down for the rest of the season in return. Damn, could shit get any worse at this point? They only got six healthy players, with the whole season in front of em. Time to chalk the season and trade Ellis before he reinjures his ankle. As long as Nelson is the coach, expect Ellis, Randolph and Curry to be goin elsewhere in the near future.

when was that on espn? cus its only been college bball all day.

tim kawakami's twitter said that the warriors are actively trading to trade monta ellis.

and league sources have confirmed that ellis's agent is going to meet with the warriors tomorrow.

we are going to be the worst team in the league and there is no clear cut #1 player in the draft. maybe john wall but we just drafted our PG.

from espn insider:

Earlier today, we surmised Monta Ellis could be the next disgruntled player traded off the Golden State Warriors. ESPN the Magazine's Ric Bucher added that pretty much the only difference between Stephen Jackson and Ellis was that he hadn't demanded a trade yet.

But are they already shopping him? According to Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News, multiple sources have told him the Warriors have been reaching out to teams in recent days in an effort to trade Ellis -- apparently at Don Nelson's urging.

Sources are also telling Kawakami that Ellis' agent, Jeff Fried, will meet with team management Thursday, and it's possible the team will give Ellis and his agent more formal permission to talk to other teams in an effort to get a deal done as soon as possible.

As these trade talks heat up, expect rumored deals, discussions and destinations to come quick, just as they did with Jackson.

Never thought id say this, but now the Warriors are the most dysfunctional team in sports!!!! what the FUCK is going on....im at my end here, i dont even know why i would stay a fan. anyway, heres some other news.

Vladimir Radmanovic is listed as a starter for the Warriors on Tuesday, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The starting five appears to be Monta Ellis, Anthony Morrow, Stephen Curry, Vlad-Rad and Mikki Moore, with Corey Maggette and Anthony Randolph off the bench. It's going to be an interesting night in Cleveland, as the GSW have only seven healthy bodies.

Monta Ellis' status with the Warriors could be determined when his agent meets with team management on Thursday, and the result could be a trade.
Multiple sources say that the Warriors, at coach Don Nelson's urging, have contacted other teams about trading Ellis, and it now appears likely that formal trade talks could come to fruition Thursday. Ellis and Nelson's relationship has nearly completely deteriorated, with Nelson telling Ellis, who was addressing the team in an attempt to be a leader, to 'be quiet' being the final straw. The Warriors will have just seven healthy players for Tuesday night, meaning almost all of them are worth holding right now.

Coach Don Nelson said Tuesday that Andris Biedrins (back/groin) is likely to make his return from injury sooner than Ronny Turiaf (knee). Biedrins is scheduled to be reevaluated next Monday.
Biedrins and Turiaf's absence means Anthony Randolph should start seeing more minutes. His playing time has been inconsistent, but when he's been on the floor, all he's done is produce. And with the Warriors only having seven players available for Tuesday's game, it doesn't appear that even Nellie can stop Randolph this time.

Raja Bell will have the season-ending wrist surgery he put off while with the Bobcats.
Bell would rather sit out the season than play for the Warriors and it's hard to blame him as he is going to try to get healthy for a free-agent deal this summer. He'll be an emergency player for Don Nelson tonight as they'll only dress eight players, but expect the surgery to happen soon. Anthony Morrow, Steph Curry and Corey Maggette get a nice boost with this news.

Monta Ellis admitted that it will be difficult for the Warriors to replace Stephen Jackson's production, but said he doesn't feel any added pressure.
"'m not going to put any more on my back," Ellis said. "Somebody else is going to have to step up and take on the role." He also questioned the team's defense without Jax (and gave himself a shout-out) -- "Now, who have we got that's going to play defense? We've got me. Who else?" When asked about defensive specialist Raja Bell, Ellis replied, "I don’t know too much about dude."

john hollinger said that raja's decision to get the surgery done is pretty much "im not playing for those bozo's"

lol. nelson needs to bounce now. fuck him and his bullshit ass record. it dont mean shit when no one shows up for the games or his hall of fame introduction (if he actually ever gets there)

I'll tell you why that $21 million in cap space aint gonna mean shit next year. If they couldn't get Amare or KG to come here in the last few years, what other superstar player is gonna want to come here to play. What's gonna happen is they'll end up having to bring in some good role players (but not superstars) who need a fresh start in their career, similar to when they brought in Baron, Steven and Al Harrington, hope they gel together and at least get us one good year of basketball. Only thing is we been doin that for the last 12-13 years, and it only gelled one time. Nellie aint the worst coach, he just needs the right pieces to fit his small ball system (He had it back in the RUN TMC days and with Dallas). He had it again with Baron, Steve, Al, Matt and Jason. They broke it up, so now it's time to send him packin. These players need a different system to thrive. He's playin all out of position and causing all these players to go backwards. End of the day Monta is not a PG, he needs Baron Davis type player to draw defenders. If he's your leader on the floor, then you're in trouble

it just sucks that we have to rebuild COMPLETELY. we have nothing to work with, especially if they trade monta. I just know theyre not gonna get anything good for him, why would they? So guys like Anthony Randolph and Anthony Morrow, and Curry, will have no one around to help them get better, let alone wanna keep them playing here. FUCCKCKKCKCKCKCKGKKGKCCKCKFKC
