Never thought id say this, but now the Warriors are the most dysfunctional team in sports!!!! what the FUCK is going on....im at my end here, i dont even know why i would stay a fan. anyway, heres some other news.
Vladimir Radmanovic is listed as a starter for the Warriors on Tuesday, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The starting five appears to be Monta Ellis, Anthony Morrow, Stephen Curry, Vlad-Rad and Mikki Moore, with Corey Maggette and Anthony Randolph off the bench. It's going to be an interesting night in Cleveland, as the GSW have only seven healthy bodies.
Monta Ellis' status with the Warriors could be determined when his agent meets with team management on Thursday, and the result could be a trade.
Multiple sources say that the Warriors, at coach Don Nelson's urging, have contacted other teams about trading Ellis, and it now appears likely that formal trade talks could come to fruition Thursday. Ellis and Nelson's relationship has nearly completely deteriorated, with Nelson telling Ellis, who was addressing the team in an attempt to be a leader, to 'be quiet' being the final straw. The Warriors will have just seven healthy players for Tuesday night, meaning almost all of them are worth holding right now.
Coach Don Nelson said Tuesday that Andris Biedrins (back/groin) is likely to make his return from injury sooner than Ronny Turiaf (knee). Biedrins is scheduled to be reevaluated next Monday.
Biedrins and Turiaf's absence means Anthony Randolph should start seeing more minutes. His playing time has been inconsistent, but when he's been on the floor, all he's done is produce. And with the Warriors only having seven players available for Tuesday's game, it doesn't appear that even Nellie can stop Randolph this time.
Raja Bell will have the season-ending wrist surgery he put off while with the Bobcats.
Bell would rather sit out the season than play for the Warriors and it's hard to blame him as he is going to try to get healthy for a free-agent deal this summer. He'll be an emergency player for Don Nelson tonight as they'll only dress eight players, but expect the surgery to happen soon. Anthony Morrow, Steph Curry and Corey Maggette get a nice boost with this news.
Monta Ellis admitted that it will be difficult for the Warriors to replace Stephen Jackson's production, but said he doesn't feel any added pressure.
"'m not going to put any more on my back," Ellis said. "Somebody else is going to have to step up and take on the role." He also questioned the team's defense without Jax (and gave himself a shout-out) -- "Now, who have we got that's going to play defense? We've got me. Who else?" When asked about defensive specialist Raja Bell, Ellis replied, "I don’t know too much about dude."
