Two apps that give the Droid pinch and zoom abilities like the iphone are B&B Gallery & Dolphin Browser. They're pretty smooth...Dolphin gives you tabs and delicious bookmarks.

Yeah, they all share the same marketplace.

So glad i got rid of the sidekick. Best decision in 2009.
Might do the same. Walmart got the cliq for $98 boodles. But the g1 has the keyboard just like the sidekick. Cliq has a 5 megapix yamra so that's cool. Played wit it for a bit and the net is definately faster to what im used to for phones.

Yeah that's what i have the G1, at the tmobile store they tried to sell me the Cliq, but i opted for the G1, cliq felt too cheap and has all that twitter and myspace interface shit in the home menu. Like a special little theme for that fone.

Its the User interface, you can change it but they dont advertise it as android the special little theme is called motoblur and the droid got that too, idk what the others are called thou n IMO right now you need to forget about the G1 cause only 78 megs of memory isnt relativly worth anything.. hell you cant even save apps to the SD card less its rooted so you should be wiser and go with the 180 the cliq has..
basically G1 is outdated imo it may be a good starter phone for android but that 78 megs will fill up QUICk n you cant recieve any new updates

here's what i fuck with:

chompSMS: texting program that seems to work better for me than handcent or the default program...you can customize the look of everything, change fonts, etc.

SpoofApp: Call anybody and choose the number/name that shows up on their caller id...gives you the option to record the phone calls, and even has a voice changer (which is kinda shitty)...AWESOME for pranks, but it's kinda evil hahaha

PhoneMyPC: lets you control your computer from the phone...REALLY dope...$10 though

ringdroid: make your own ringtones from your mp3's...hella easy and useful

Weather Widget Donate/Beautiful Widgets: put a clock on your home screen that shows up to date weather information wherever you currently are...dope.

pandora radio: free internet radio customized to your taste

Space Physics: fun game

AP Mobile: News Articles with customizable categories

Super SMS Faker: You can fake ingoing and outgoing texts so you can bullshit yourself out of a situation...set it to timers, etc.

Trapster: Check out your local area and see if there are speed traps, dui checks, etc.

advanced task killer: keep background programs from taking up phone memory

nesoid lite: nintendo emulator...hella fun.

barcode scanner: very useful...price check anything with a barcode

LED Flashlight: turns the camera flash on so you can use it like a flashlight

backgrounds: get hella wallpapers for the phone

google sky map: useless, but still tight...point the phone into the night sky and it'll tell you what you're looking at.

places directory: best app i've seen for searching the local area for restaurants, gas stations, etc.
