u think breaking bad season 1-5 will be available for complete collection before the holidays? i want to get it for my bro for christmas. he caught it late but got hooked. i'm looking @ prices for 1-4 just for dvd and it's ridiculous?

hopefully i can get it cheaper by that time. i know there are torrents but i'll be willing to do it if it's worth it.

Check Amazon. I think each season, at least the first three are no more than $15 apiece.

Also, I was annoyed with the LOOOOOONG break until the second half of this season. Then I realized on Sunday, that I didn't even think about watching it because football was on. Then I thought to myself, I said, "self, they probably planned the break so that the show wouldn't compete with football."

Ep 306, Walt meets Gale, Gale talks about a Whitman poem, Walt goes home and reads it in his book! He already had the book it seems.

It fits with the general story telling this show has employed. There have been numerous coincidences that if they didn't occur would have made the story fall apart.

Crazy 8 escapes the basement only to run into Walt driving home, Walt running into Jane's dad at the bar(edit; actually this one might not have affected story much), Walt over hearing that the lawyer is about to flip.

I'm sure there are more coincidences, now, Hank puts the pieces together based on the incorrect assumption that GB is Gale.

And it takes away the "Walt leaves a book from Gale lying around where anyone could find it" sloppiness out of the equation.​

Gretchen name right now is Schwartz which is black in german. but that was Gales gift. Gilligan already confirmed it.

He also said every scene in that episode was in there for a reason. he said this when he was asked about the scan. why would they put it in there if it wasnt for some good reason? also after he got it he lost alot of his pep and gave up the game. it's obvious cancer is back.

That just reminded me of another one of those type of posts from 4chan where it pointed out how Walt "adopts" certain traits and habits from people he kills, cutting sammich crust off from Crazy-8, Gus' etc, the last one they hinted might be one was Walt making numbers out of bacon on his birthday, which is something Skylar does/did.

All these Season 5 episodes are on iTunes dude. And the other seasons are fairly inexpensive on eBay.

the problem with i-tunes tho is you can't burn em to disk. i tried for a couple other things (movies) and it only shows up to comp.

i'm just trying to do everything in one shot. i guess i got to wait and see?
