I think the cartel flashbacks, and with the present scenes with Don Eladio (Steven Bauer) are some of the best scenes involving cartels/drug trade in any movie or tv show. So real, depicting disrespect and how it's taken, the old clip of Hector Salamanca pissing in the pool and openly dissing a young Gustavo Fring, to Don Eladio suspecting the bottle of tequila to be tampered but still drinking it. It's not as cheesy as other movies/tv shows.

But I pulled out my DVD series of KINGPIN and Jesse (Aaron Paul) played a small role in that as a hillbilly who was going to buy 42 Kilo's of Cocaine......

i re-watched the episode and saw a couple new things i didnt notice before but that was like two days ago and i cant remember exactly what i was going to post in here lol
i think the first one was at that first DEA meeting wtih madrigal electromotive, the chick was present at the meeting. that shows you right there shes just part of the corporation. the next time you see her is when shes at the diner freaking out, trying to get mike to kill off everyone on that list.

oh yea, a thing i noticed and forgot to add
walt is now blue. last season walt was always dressed in green the whole time, same with skyler whenever she was doing shit to protect / help walt. Gus was always in blue. in the box cutter episode and several episodes after, when jesse was kind of on the fence with walt, we saw jesse in blue as well. well walt isnt in green anymore, hes always in blue now. hes taken gus's color (his spot) in the show as the evil sociopath. skyler hasnt been shown in blue yet, shes always in dark colors like grey or black. jesses in blue as well.
also that scene where walt tricked jesse into thinking that he lost the cigarette at his house and the rumba sucked it up; i noticed walt had gloves on the entire time lol. didnt want his fingerprints at jesses house. could just be smart thinking after what happened to gus and gale.... could be something more sinister in the back of walts mind. keeping jesses house clean in case he has to kill him off. just something small i noticed

i think he might have. i know jesse was usually in red when it had something to do with him just being a thug in general or a criminal. season 1 he had his bright red car, i think we first saw him he always wore red and black. the whole meth lab was red (criminal color?), when gus killed the guy with the box cutter he was wearing a red shirt before he put on the rubber suit. when jesse had his chick that he was happy with he wore a lot of yellow. yellow might be the peaceful color when a character is satisfied and happy? i think skyler used to wear a lot of blue back in the early seasons, then she slowly switched to green when she got back on walts side... now shes grey / black.
there could be whole entire discussions just based off of the colors alone lol. but i just wanted to point out that green, the color walt wore most last season, is gone in place of blue. what does it stand for? taking over gus's spot? wearing blue = the blue meth, being in control? walt switching to blue = his pride for the meth and weilding power over his blue meth empire took over his drive for the money (green clothing)?
