I finally caught up with this show and finished it, it had some great high moments and some outlandish scenes that broke the realism for me. Namely, Hank killing the twins, gtfo that was so unrealistic. I enjoyed seeing Mike and Walt getting their hands dirty this season, I'm interested in seeing how they pick it up next season. Although, I felt that season 2 might have had better cinematography then season 3. It seemed they got a bit lazy with setting up nice shots in the second half of this season.

When life immitates art

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police are warning parents that blue food dye is now being used by criminals who are making methamphetamine.

Police Chief Jim Corwin wrote about the use of the dye on his blog this week. He said the blue crystal is starting to show up in the metro, and police are concerned someone could get his or her hands on it by mistake.

"Our concern is maybe a kid will get a hold of it and think it's candy," said Sgt. Tim Witcig, from the Kansas City Police Department's Drug Unit. "That's our main concern."

Witcig said meth is usually clear, but during the last month, police have arrested four or five drug users across the city who had the new blue meth in their possession. One of the arrests took place at a house at 420 Potter Ave.

Police speculate that the drug's popularity might have something to do with the popular television show "Breaking Bad," where the main character manufactures his meth with a blue color. Police also said the drug test they use is blue and maybe drug dealers think making the drug the same color could trick the testing.

"We still send it to the lab, and it detects it," Witcig said.

Police are trying to find the actual cooks who are making the meth in order to get some answers behind the blue drug. They said they want to find out if it's a fad or a new way to target a younger generation of users.

Police said the blue color could also be a way for drug dealers to put their stamp on a particular product. Police said that blue isn't the only color they've seen. In the past, they said they were alerted to what's called strawberry meth, which is red.

Emmy Award - Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series - Bryan Cranston
Emmy Award - Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series - Aaron Paul

Congrats to both of them. I think stuff like the Emmy's and the sort are a big joke but they both deserved the wins for sure. That's three years in a row for Bryan Cranston.
