There will never be a backlash as big as the one after the Fly episode. The show could end with Walter finding out the whole thing was a prank set up by Gustavo and people still would have bitched more after Fly aired.

That's why it's forever my favorite episode.
I didn't mind that episode, but I was binge watching on Netflix, so if one episode isn't up to par I was on to the next. I could potentially see being disappointed with it if I had been waiting all week and had to wait another week when it was over.

now heres the part where i bring the hate to myself, any1 think that last episode was ridiculous? hank and jesse trick walt with something so stupid, walt immediately blabbers the most stupid perfect confession and never saw it coming. even after knowing hank was working renegade and tracking his every move, after knowing huell went missing, after knowing jesse was missing, never ONCE did he think gee maybe hank got to jesse or huell? there better be some flashback to show us jesse and walt made up and planned this or something to get hank and gomie alone in the desert. its just too unbelievable to out manuever everyone he has so far just to turn into such a stupid fuck all the sudden. i dunno it just doesnt add up.

I agree with that.

I definitely found myself thinking Walt typically would have been more skeptical and it was very out of character for him to make all those mistakes in one sequence. With Jesse's arrest and then subsequent disappearance Walt should have been very skeptical of his motives "whatever you do don't hang up the phone and drive here immediately" pshhh

Also the ending was BS, unless that was all those guys first time firing guns, someone was getting hit in that firefight.

The worst is when people are highly critical of The Walking Dead lol. It's a show about Zombies. Not a documentary!
I totally disagree with that and my problem with it is this - don't let writing for a show with a supernatural element become an excuse for lazy writing.

Just because it's a show about zombies doesn't mean that shotguns all of a sudden hold unlimited shells or car doors stop 30-06 bullets or gas left in a tank for 2 years won't go bad.

^ I get that some people were being sarcastic, but not others. Hollywood writers over here.

Is that Victor's head? Or one of the Salamanca twins. Is he out to lunch at Los Pollos Hermanos?

You guys take all the fun out of the show, super-over analyzing everything. Walt was in shock and surprised that they found his money. It's not impossible, the guy aint some super cyborg with a computer brain. Just shut up and enjoy the show, the awesome fucking show.

Scene:

10 guys are standing 20 yards from each other firing semi and fully automatic weapons at one another. The firing is relentless yet no one is struck by any of the fire.

This firefight should last 10 minutes with over 1,000 bullets fired even though all the magazines shown either hold 17 or 30 rounds. Don't show anyone reloading as that would take away from the action.

Towards the end, Walt is shot in the head with a hollow point ak-47 round, only he miraculously survives, and then pulls the fragmented bullet out of his head, and loads it into the pistol he is carrying and then fires the game winning shot with the bases loaded on the goal line with 2 seconds left on the 24 second shot clock........

blahhhhhhhhhh :dead:

all art opens itself to criticism once its released to the public. this thread would be very boring & basically pointless if it was nothing but praise without pointing out the flaws. no show gets to be dubbed the "best thing on tv" while also requiring you to turn off your brain to enjoy it.

Good episode but i definitely wasn't surprised/shocked by anything except for the fact that no one died (yet).

The set up with the money was super obvious and the uncle+ showing up was a pretty easy one to figure out.

I would definitely expect Walt to figure out WAY sooner that it was a setup...as soon as he saw the location and that no one was there he should have kept driving.

lol this whole last half season has a second rate vibe to it. bryan cranston and anna gunns acting has fallen completely off, the guy that plays gomie isnt even trying anymore, that last shooting scene looked like something youd see on youtube, a cartoon rated pg shooting scene

you guys saying the episode was hella predictable and what not are crazy. I was pretty sure Skinny Pete and Badger were going to come and take the red necks out. Didn't happen. Cuz good ole Vince knew that's what we thought would happen.
