Buster Posey has been scratched from Wednesday night's lineup due to a case of shingles.
The 25-year-old catcher told reporters that he simply feels "worn out" and expects to be back in the starting lineup on Thursday.

Brandon Belt is not in Wednesday's lineup.
It's the second straight game off for Belt, who was expected to serve as San Francisco's primary first baseman this season. It seems that Giants manager Bruce Bochy is overreacting to the 23-year-old's 1-for-10 start. Aubrey Huff is starting at first base vs. the Rockies.

Pagan discourages me more and more after every at-bat. And Timmy needs consistency behind the plate, not saying Sanchez is a bad catcher but when he switched from Molina to Posey he struggled for a month before they started clicking. After Posey's injury, he struggled again and never clicked with whiteside and somewhat did well with Stewart. Now, i know I know Posey caught Tim in the opener, but that was the first time he caught since last april, they were rusty and didn't have all of spring training to click again. And Tim has his faults too, all of his pitches are mostly up right now.

i suggest you Giants fans turn off the game. Blame it on that mile high altitude and move on. Just now was an example how bad things are going tonight for the Giants. Runner caught in between 3rd and home yet scored and then the runner from 2nd that should have been the easiest tag out advances safely. Now Affelot is giving up the ass like no other.
