So I knew we had a lot of money to spend, but I just heard we're going to have more money to spend this offseason than any team ever in the history of the nfl. Crazy.
and yet folks think were gonna be the same ole Raiders next season. 1st Round picks are even way more affordable now. We should actually draft a qb cuz even if that didnt even exactly work out at least he wouldnt be making Jamarcus money. Finally were done with all the overpaid 1st round picks weve had in the last 5 to 10 years.

We could be the same ol raiders, but a lot depends on how reggie spends the money. This is his time to really prove himself. Most important offseason in years

Wow.... Dennis Allen and McKenzie needs to go. Two seasons with back to back 4-12 records. Pathetic! Talk about taking two steps backwards! Fired the coach who had a 6-0 division record, 8-8 overall but keeps the 4-12 (back to back season) coach. Genius!

You be quiet Meta4iCAL. Get ready for another 4-12 season.... The Chiefs turned their franchise around because of "COACHING".... they pretty much had the same players. They brought in a coach and qb and went 11-5.

Hugh Jackson...

but come on man... You gotta want better than 4-12. If he goes 6-10 and then 7-9 the next few years how will that fair with you? That's more than likely 4 straight years with no playoffs (assuming it happens, under Allen).

I just don't get how or why Hugh was fired after one 8-8 season and Dennis Allen gets to keep his job after two 4-12 seasons.

hugh was on a power trip and threw everyone under the bus. reggie wasnt going to keep him around, reggie wanted to bring his own guy in

i think if DA goes anything less than 8-8 next year he is gone. the chiefs had like 6 pro bowlers, we had none, thats why the chiefs could turn it around in one season. were racing lambos and ferraris with honda money these past few years, get realistic tony.

the 8-8 raider squads werent playoff teams, they were mediocre teams who were over paid. reggie blew things up for this next season coming up now, now we get to really judge DA and Reggie

Bruh I am being realistic.... Just tired of seeing the Raiders lose. Gotta get someone in here that knows what they're doing.

Hugh may have been on a power trip but how can you blame him? There was no GM, Al Davis was in his last days. Give me an arrogant coach that's on a power trip with a 6-0 division record over a coach that's averaging 4 wins per year.

To win in the NFL, you have to at least be competitive in your division.

you expect DA to be competitive when we had donkeys against race horses, why dont you understand that??? and he still managed 4 wins last season and could of won half the games we played.

Bro, I understand, just don't agree. The Raiders may not have as much talent but there are no excuses for letting teams like Philly and K.C. come to Oakland and beat the team like that. They line 11 men up just like the Raiders do. At some point, you have to question the coaching.

Philly put up 49
Jets put up 37
Denver put hella points in the first half
Chiefs put up 56

The team started off good and then regressed. Dennis Allen needs to go and I'd give McKenzie one more year too. I don't care if he came in an cleared up cap space what good is it if you're not producing wins?

lol @ Kah, if we were to bring back a coach back it should be Tom Cable. Hes the one that had our O-Line at its best. Also Hugh inherited everything Cable did basically. Hugh fucked us up bad with that Carson Palmer trade. Thats one reason i do laugh at the Bengals misfortunes though

This.

That team was ok, but not competing for a championship. It's the same concept as teams tanking in the nba. Why try to make the playoffs as an 8 seed and get bounced out in the first round when you can get a lottery pick and build your franchise? Sometimes when the team is a mess you have to really suck for a little while before you can get good. When I say "good" I don't mean 8-8 and almost making the playoffs, I mean competing for a super bowl and in the playoffs every year

I don't know if DA is the answer, but let's give him more than 2 years. They basically said from the gate that they were gonna clean house and rebuild. We all knew it would take a couple seasons to everything fell into place.

Most smart football people around the league view Allen as a good coach, who just had a lack of talent. I'll trust their opinions over yours, tony.

With that said, I've already stated if things don't improve this year then we need to make changes somewhere.

They said the same about Lane Kiffin.....
It's good, you can trust their opinions all you want, but fact is he's 8-24 as head coach of the Oakland Raiders. He's on pace to be 12-36. I wonder if their opinions will change then....
