Tech N9ne's Sacramento connection is expected to release the second album of his Strange Music trilogy this March.
Sacramento, California veteran Gangsta Rap emcee Brotha Lynch Hung released Dinner and a Movie last year. The album served as a comeback to the onetime X-Raided protege who recently signed with Tech N9ne's Strange Music imprint. After over a decade removed from the Top 200 charts, Dinner and a Movie debuted at #64, and made HipHopDX's Top 25 Albums of 2010 feature.
New advertising from Strange Music has confirmed that the follow-up to Dinner and a Movie in a planned trilogy, Coathangastrangla, will release in March, 2011. The third album in the series, will be reportedly called Mandible Lector, and is planned for 2012.
Last year, Lynch told HipHopDX about the trilogy: "These three albums are connected together, and we'll release them as a three pack later just so you can have the whole movie. It's about a serial killer, a regular guy during the day who ends up turning into a serial killer in response to all the bad stuff in his life. People are not gonna all the way understand from this first album, but if they catch on they'll buy all three. It's chapter one out of three."
Prior to the album release, the former Black Market Records artist is expected to release The Second Fillup, a promotional mixtape.
