watched the deer hunter last night, good movie but a lil overrated imo, too long as well i thought they couldve cut out alot of scenes in that movie.

Watched it solely based on James Gunn being the director.
I had passing interest in the movie when it came out, and even less after I heard how depressing it was.
It didn't disappoint in the depressive nature of the film's plot.
Pretty good movie, but I will likely never watch it again.
Like I said, I watched it because of James Gunn to gauge his film style, since he's directing Guardians of the Galaxy.
