Can someone please shed some light on why they think Wall-e was a great movie?

I just about feel asleep in it and my 2 kids wanted to leave before it was over, my wife liked it but said it was nowhere near a great movie for her either. It waan't near a top disney or pixar movie, much less a great movie overall.

I thought Bolt was a much more entertaining disney release as did my kids. Hell I watched clon wars right after wall-e and thought that was more entertaining as well.
