"At the age of 16, B-SHOC's heart started beating to the beat of rap music. Falling in love with the style, he pursued a career. With the success came the "rock-star" lifestyle which consisted of partying and women. Between performing and promoting, this fast life locked B-SHOC in the night clubs almost every night of the week.

The chase for fame and money, and never seeming to reach satisfaction began to fill his heart with emptiness. Reaching a state of depression, B-SHOC became tired of the race. Knowing that God had his hand on him the whole time, B-SHOC knew it was time to run back to Him. B-SHOC disappeared from the scene for quite some time. After time off and prayer, he came back with quite an announcement... "From here on out, I'm singing for Jesus!""

one of the best scams when i was still a scrub on diablo 2 involved 'hexes', these little charm things that were super valuable and good for trading. you get a different charm that looks identical, and offer the real one to someone for an item you want but is worth way less than the hex. do the trade legit, but have your inventory completely full so the trade doesn't complete. then say, 'ah shit, my inventory is full, let me get rid of some of this junk', then make space, do the trade again but swap the legit hex for the decoy. theyre so eager to rip you off they dont look at its stats and they hit trade super fast. then usually tell you 'HAHA I RIPPED YOU OFF FAGGOT" or something that makes it even more hilarious. i got 'rich' doing that. the best was when i tried to bop a great bow from someone, switched the decoy hex, but they had switched to a decoy bow. lmao. scammers scamming scammers.

you cant do anything close to that in todays games without permanent bans and shit. everything is soft. wheres the anarchy and ruthlessness

I was poor. We didn't have the internet, or even a computer for the majority of my home life. And from the sounds of it I didn't miss much, I think I was better off doing whatever else I was doing at the time. Oh you guys used to play games, and chat...really missed the boat on that one. Pffft...

right ... im a nerd for playing computer games, but we're all posting on a message board, which is pretty much the nerdiest thing you can possibly be doing on a computer lol
Who called you a nerd? I didn't use any adjectives in what I said. I said you guys are reflecting back on things that I didn't have, and in the context of the present sounds boring, and Im glad I was doing something else.

Im sure if you knew what I was doing youd probably think the same thing.

Don't get all defensive and put words in my mouth, nerd.

i for one do not miss the slow dial up modem sound that let everyone know you were connecting to the WWW ...as well as search speeds...downloading was just not fun..i remember starting a download and used to leave the modem going over night so hopefully it was done when i woke up and then the other times where the modem would just drop connection stop downloading and i would wake up and have to start the download all over ... i remember IRC chat and DC connect a bit later...and the yahoo IM chatrooms....met a few broads through that ...i did like the internet more prior to being able to see and know everything that was going on in a persons life ...and this whole movement of faggotry that you must "like" someones picture or status ...i also find it incredible that this is really our way of communication now days...even drives me nuts when a group of people will go out to eat and then they spend the evening on their phones...and there's another holy shit moment, something that we didnt have with the internet back then was a portable internet ...we had nokia phones with the coolest thing on it being a square snake that increased in size when ate more squares ...the internet used to a place where you could lose yourself , now its just something that we are...walking data plans letting the government know exactly what were doing, when were doing it and who were doing it with, there is no privacy anymore and most dont mind sharing that information down to a map pegged location of where they are currently ...i could say that could go either way since its a digital timeline...it could be used for snitching on yourself or an alibi ...anyways..long live siccness.net this fucking site has truly lasted

Sure as hell beats national geographic magazines. Haha before the Internet we used to raid the recycling depot magazine bin and find hella tiddy mags in that shit.
