If you can't afford to post a video yourself, that says something about your current position in rap. Just seems like a waste of money if the average WSHH browser doesn't even know your name. You want the WSHH people to post your videos for you, free of charge. That's a real buzz paying off, this is trying to pay your way into a buzz.
Shout outs to the homie Crazie Locs, getting his video posted on there, for free.

I'm just gonna throw my two cents out:

-just checked wethewest....the majority of the videos barely have any views...being on there wouldnt mean much at all
You ever seen those ads they slip in your car window, and that they don't ever skip a car? Because it's a missed opportunity if they don't. Sure, with WSHH there's more traffic than WTW, but there is traffic going to WTW, and based off what I've seen off of there it would be fitting for the demographics you may be looking for. Hell, he said it's free; baby steps.

why are people calling it a fundraiser?
A fund raiser is when an organization sets up an event to raise funds for whatever cause. I think the reason people are calling it a fundraiser is it's advertised as one. The shows called "Road To Worldstar;" the money could have went to WSHH without mentioning it.

(I say this because I fell into the same idea when I was trying to sell graphics and advertised that I was looking to enhance my home studio)

It's how I heard about Hopsin and plenty other artist's that have a bigger name now BECAUSE of WSHH.
I think word of mouth is much stronger than checking WSHH. For me, I only check shit I'm familiar with (that's me though). And WSHH recognized Lil B, not the other way around.

No desperation at all, we think outside the box so were not doing the same bullshit everyone else is doing.
I'm a little thrown off by this. Like Indo mentioned earlier, everybody is trying to do this. Also lately I've seen some conventional ideas coming out of the group. I know of two examples of exploiting another artists buzz. There's gotta be better ways to think outside of the box.

None of this was meant to come off any way other than critical. I wish you guys luck, I just wanted to throw some thought out there for you guys.

lol @ inf gang begging for collabo's on twitter by shouting out FUCK YOU to people....not a good look.

Paying to be on Worldstar to ME is a waste of money, but if you want to pay to be lightweight famous well then...hey, go for it.
We live in an age where you can be the biggest rapper in the world in the internet but your own next door neighbor or the dude down the block in your own city never heard of you, where myspace plays and youtube views somehow equal some form of currency or street cred....in the age where if you cant make it own your own, piggyback on an already established rapper and you too can have a career, ...if spending $ to get on worldstar will mean you have achieved some sort of goal in life, more power to you...
but there are SO MANY other ways to be seen and heard that are FREE....like WTW, which is a rapidly growing website that is becoming endorsed by more and more artists, dj's and promoters.....
Thats like me paying to put an ad in the newspaper when craigslist is free....who the fuck checks newspapers for things anymore?...and who the hell checks worldstar when they are searching for hot new talent?

i dont agree with the idea...but hey, to each his own....but ya'll cats could learn a lot from the comments left in this thread...which ones?...well, that is for you to decide

I think they got the idea that it was okay to do that, given Tyler's blatant "Fuck you, I don't give a fuck" attitude. But yeah, it's not a real good way of going about business.

you should pay someone who sounds like what you want to sound like $500 to give you a simple yes or no answer as to whether you'll ever sound like them or not.

if the answer is no you should have another benefit show to raise $500 to take your mothers out to dinner at red lobster and then quit rapping.
