just some advice to the job seekers.

The early bird gets the worm. In other words putting in resumes after 12:00 p.m. is not going to cut it in today's economy. Walking through the door when the company you are seeking employment from opens for business will send the message you are serious about your job search.

Overqualified people are looking for jobs everywhere. The key is to give yourself every possible edge. This includes having a proffessional resume, cover letter,contact list, certificates, etc. ready to present to the potential employer. Dress proffessionally. A thank you letter for the opportunity to interview can go a long way as well.

or go to school.

i got a job but signing in cause im staying broke

shit i get paid on friday but have to buy 4 new tires an alignmetn and brake fluid change then the rest is on gas.

lol at working two weeks to pay to drive to work - owned. fml

As soon as unemployment finds out you are in school, they will cut you off. Also, they will sue you for all the times you committed FRAUD on your claim form by checking that you were not in school.

EDD dont play. It might take them a month to catch it but they will.


They will garnish your future checks until they get their money back.

once again in todays economy, its not what you know or do, its who u know. My homie lost his job last week. His mom works at a Sutter Solano Hospital and is hella cool with the hiring manager. Hook his ass up with a payroll desk job a couple days later. This is during their "Hiring Freeze" time to.

i say this many times in many threads like this,grab your phone book look under employment agencies(temp services) they are always looking for immediate hire ons and most temps do cotton swab drug test which aint shit.most temps have warehouse positions open and probably willl hire you fast cuz its the holidays and theres alot of seasonal jobs out there right now..just go in very respectful and have that i wanna work attidute and you shouldn't have a problem.

isnt there a way to get an advance on state taxes?or do you have to wait til the w2 comes in?i earhustled someones convo in the mall and they said u can use your last pay stub as a w2?
