lol ... I sometimes forget we live in a world of instant gratification.

It's tough to say because it's hard to define what is considered a flop. I guess expectation and how close you come to meeting that expectation can be a formula to figure out whether something has flopped.

I'll tell you what though - I don't see any hit records out of the bay right now (hyphy or non-hyphy). So it will all boil down to who can make a hit. U and Dat ... we'll see how much impact that has in a couple of weeks if 40's sales per week go up.

I'm pretty sure all of the other artists (FAB, Keak, Quinn, Bailey, etc...) are all being approached by majors, but trying to not sign a fucked up deal considering this is the first major opportunity like this out this way in a while.

You never know what might happen though. Some new booty can come out of the woodworks with a hit tomorrow and the "movement" will continue. I'm taking the old wait and see perspective...

i just dont think theres enough people wanting to do 'hyphy' styled rap..so in that way it would flop..

its only a select group of people doing it..so itll be like any other lil fad...g funk or horrorcore or whatever..but it brought some people into the limelight and thats good
