in the bay area hyphy will never die

the whole hyphy movement was spawned off a music culture, its blunt that other regions won't understand most of the shit that goes on but its still all good

most people wont like hyphy music because they prolly shook, think its too ghetto, look at people on tv wilding out wearin stunnas, grinnin, spinnin donuts at sideshows, thizz facin like yee and are like what the feez..?, they listen to the music and not understand anything people is saying (slang) etc etc

but its still all good, everyone got they different styles and music

funny how a lot of cats on this board bitched about the bay not getting it's shine on, and now that we do have our shine, cats are not appreciating nor supporting the hyphy movement as much (not everone but a lot of people seem pretty confident that we're bout to flop in this music industry).

i personally feel that we established our own culture and motha fuckaz all over the world are feelin' it... so to answer your question, W D, i don't think the hyphy music/culture will ever flop. it might calm down a bit... but it will never flop. that's just my personal opinion though.

much love,

i don't think hyphiness is ever going away in the bay area.

however, as far as mtv & bet's fascination with the hyphy movement are concerned, i have no idea how long it will last.
