I dunno, I like Razakel's stuff. I dunno about her needing to charge more than $500 for a verse tho. That said, SKR's building a rabid fan base, and if she's able to find some fucks who'll pay that much $ for a verse from her, get paid. Wish i could attend hustlemania, will be at GOTJ tho.

...did y'all read Sicktanick's blog recently? All y'all artists up here talking shit, y'all don't wanna be on dude's "blackball" list lol

Nah it was basically Sick saying if he has beef with you he won't work with you in any capacity, will tell other artists, labels, promoters not to work with you, etc. that, and he's tired of all these so-called "satanic" rappers when he has actually experience in this stuff, have studied, attended and performed rituals, etc.

Like em or not though, SKR's got a growing fan base just as Mars does. Granted it's made up a good deal of kids who love walking around with upside down crosses hollering about "Fuck god" and all that nonsense, but it is what it is. I'm a fan of the "wicked rap" genre as a whole, and with the taking over of KillMusick, and that Strictly For The Wicked fest coming up, Sick's doing thangs.

BJ. Let go of the dick. Take it outta your mouth.

ADR Lavey is the only satanist I would follow. Anyone from this camp or Apartment 3 shits on this mother fucker big time. If he mad satanist he should ask the devil to over-indulge his stupid ass in some skill.

Sicktanik needs to get off his own dick with these huge blog bullshits. Me me me me! Wah Wah Wah! Fuck that mother fucker. Wack as fuck. Real artist don't need to myspace about their beefs they either do something creative with it in the music or they handle that shit.

I'm not on anyone's dick. I'm an individual with my own mind and perfectly capable of free thinking. I don't have to like an artist at all, but I won't deny the fact that they're contributing something to a genre or style. I don't see why you're getting emo about SKR or any of that in the first place. This thread is about a couple of events, not any label or whatever. I'm not even a Sicktanick fan like that, I'd listen to Mars over his stuff, but cats like Bloodshot and Komatose have been putting it down for years and do bring some shit to the label. That said, why don't you take Mars' dick out of your mouth.

BACK TO THE SUBJECT AT HAND

Drive-By, Mars, PLC and V-Sinizter confirmed for late Friday at the Gathering. V himself posted this over @ Horrorcore. Gonna be a dope night!

I don't ride Mars dick or anyone elses for that matter. I rarely talk about his music on here because half the time I havn't even heard the new stuff. I've been around these same people on here for the past 5 years or so. People know what I think and at times value it. I say what I think. I don't need to kiss ass. I'll bash your opinion like anyone elses on here. This is the Mad Insanity Board incase you forgot or you didn't know.

You wanna say you ain't ridin' dick yet I've never seen you on here I don't think until now... Just so you could defend a rapper you supposedly arn't a big fan of...? Someone that you ain't a big fan of yet you read his blogs and can probably qoute his music.. Seems suspect. I almost thought you may have been Sicktanik posted under a name just because of how much you wanna praise dude... Then you bring up rappers that I don't even hear about anymore? Last thing I ever heard about Bloodshot was that camp Horror shit or what not? Shit let's bring up more rappers we don't hear much about, but been around a long time? Where's Menacide?

Emo? I don't think you understand. I don't care for this genre because there is so much trash. They give some of the wackest "artist" I have ever heard in this genre a chance. Let them do shows and blow them up in the head when they arn't even subpar. The genre won't progress if you think about it.

If all you are satisfied with the many below average horrorcore arist in the genre then why would they even attempt to advance. I mean fuck they do shows, got groupies, and make a little bit of money. Why do anything at that point? Most of these artist arn't even hungry.

I listen to a lot of hip hop and metal all the time, but I can't stand this genre because of the lack of skill, distortion voices, and wack images.

At least V-Sinizter is still around.

It's not so much me praising anybody, but I'm not gonna act like there's some artists doing this stuff that's not advancing their careers. Now that said, Mars, Menacide, SKR, Q-Strange, V Sinizter...alot of these cats that have fan bases and are doing shows still have yet to really reach that brass ring. Say what you say about Prozak and Grave Plott, but these guys got nationwide distro, rocked several tours, so they kinda reached that one step alot of the aformentioned artists still haven't (to that extent, anyway).

Far as the genre going downhill...I personally would love to see more act that actually come with skills, with lyrics, with creative and exciting ways to come with shit. I'll admit it sucks, just not seeing that right now. But I never really get the argument about the issues some fans have with images and the crazy voice shit. That's Horror, plain and simple. Not everyone's gonna have Flatlinerz or Gravediggaz in mind when they rap. I personally think there should be a balance: Horrorcore with that hip-hop sensibility (again, focus on lyricism and creative subject matter), and the more low brow low rent horror rap shit. That would be a direct reflection of the horror movie genre: you got the good shit, then you got the B-level "so bad it's good" shit that garners more of a cult base. There's enough underground money for everybody.
