It takes only 1 to pave the way and the rest will come, that's basically what I mean, just read between the line, no one man can concour the world, but if one man makes the first move, then the other soldiers will follow. Game made the first big move in this new era, don't hate, especially cats from the west, if you feel he's weak then that's you opinion, Vanilla Ice was weak I felt, but that's my opinion, and alot of you still has his cd in your case, lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's like Kerry Vs Bush, you're really not a politician but you want someone to win, cuz one is somewhat better than the other, the same with Game, you may not like him, but he's better than alot, not because he has a hella rap style, but he has a supporting staff, Shady Records, Dre, G-Unit, etc.. you feel me, but trust me he will be the talk of the West for awhile.

Someone wanted to know what I thought about this so here it is. I think it’s pretty funny to see how much people seem to really hate him out here. The thing that keeps going through my mind is why? Because he achieved his dream of getting signed? Because he’s now a part of one of the biggest most successful labels out? Because of his affiliation with G-Unit? (maybe that’s it, they are pretty successful) Because he sounds East Coast? (that’s the same way he sounded a year ago and didn’t see too many complaints then) Because he’s not broke and struggling anymore? Because he’s been on MTV, BET, appearing in magazines and TV commercials? Because he’s not giving props to “The Bay” every time he speaks? Because he soaked up all this “Bay Area game” when he was out here and now he done up and went and joined G-Unit? C'mon...

First off, Game is from Compton, not the Bay.

Second, as an artist, if you were given the same opportunity, would you NOT take it knowing that it would not only give you the best exposure but that you'd also be able to guarantee that you could comfortably take care of your family and afford the best education money could buy for your children? Complete financial security. Be honest, what would you pick?

Third, he’s signed now and has to represent the label he’s signed to. If you sign a contract you have to pretty much do, say and flow the way “THE LABEL” wants you to. Game has never dissed the Bay but hell if he did, could you blame him? It looks like the Bay wants to diss him.

“They liked me better when I was fucked up and ashy” ~ 50 Cent

Angie,
Of course the bay is gonna hate on Game, because they aren't in his shoes, and at the rate most of them are going, they never will be.

If Game changed, it's because he had to, if Game doesn't say anything about the Bay, it's because he doesn't have to, he isn't from here therefore he is not OBLIGATED to mention the area. If 50 Cent came to me or called me on the phone, and wanted me to sign a little line at the end of a 46 page contract, I'd go to wherever he is IMMEDIATELY. If I don't have money for gas or a plane ticket, I will hop on a bus for 3 days to get to the East Coast.

Some of y'all cats fail to realize that, if he has changed, it's because he got an opportunity to make something of himself, and make money so he can eat and feed his kids, and make sure they don't grow up and live the same way he did. If he is or isn't a gangsta, it doesn't matter, that doesn't make a person struggle more or less. I'm no gangsta, but damnit I'm in a fuckin bad situation. I know, any of y'all, given the opportunity, would do the same thing without thinking twice about it.

alot of yall muthafuckaz that just str8 hate, if tha mc isnt exactly what yall want em to be, need to realize that inorder 4 a artists, city ect.... to blow they need 100% of they folks support to blow up....how u think all theaze southern kats blew up....everywhere u went u heard them in cars, clubs, the streets, mixtapes...then eventually on tha radio, cuz they have to play em since their names are so damn popular.... majors look at soundscan & see how much money dudes is making & all they see is $$$ when they realize how much more money they can make off em if they would actually get promotion.... here in Texas theirs a shit load of muthafuckaz that havent even dropped albums but yet they get air play from mixtapes alone! cuz they are so damn popular.... thats how lil flip got his deal, b4 he blew up every1 in texas knew who he was, then he took it across tha south...& got a huge buzz out of it...he only had 1 real album b4 he blew up...thats all he needed cuz soundscan spoke for it self...the majors couldnt ignore it...now look at him.......

Crooked Eye is the tightest kalifornia rapper out right now-hands down. I don't care if games on g-unit records or whateva, this is just the truth. so one kalifornia rapper comes into the new light of day and he's bringing the west back?? i think not, he's tight, but not close to as tight as they make him out to be.

Crooked I may be the tighest, (Your Opinion) but dealing with labels like death Row, he'll never be in GAME shoes, look at the overall picture as I keep stating. (Shady Records, Dr. Dre, Interscope, Violet Brown, Slim Shady.

Now Death Row, (black balled) Suge night, they have no legit artist and crooked I even left the label, so there's no comparison to "GAME"

I agree AztecSSF, but we on the West have to stop hating on the next, the West can rule the Industry because we have the hardest producer with the top label in the Industry. It's to much talent on the West, we can't afford to waste that talent.

Sydal, I agree, you make some good points too. I know there are plenty of artists out here that would love to be in his shoes whether they want to admit it or not.
