Oh yeah, so I listened to the album last night twice all the way through in my headphones before bed.

I actually like Cut Down the Tall Trees... a little more now. My favorite song is a toss up between Sledgehammer and Ex-Creations.

@ Jesse -- The Fall of Troy's next concert here is going to be Jul 8 2007 8:00P
Wamu Theatre w/ Deftones Seattle, Washington. I take it they are going to be opening for Deftones, concert is going to rock.

I just read about that yesterday. That show is going to be awesome, I'm going to have to ask for the day off of work to go see that.

I saw FBTMOF with BTBAM and Norma Jean when their tour came through awhile back. That show was fucking nuts. BTBAM puts on one intense show and both FBTMOF and Norma Jean were amazing as well.

Minus the Bear is tonite!?!?!?FUUUUUUUUUUUCK I forgot all about it! I would go, but I have to work late on Firday and if i stay out, im gonna be all groggy and grumpy....
Holy shit, this was the third time I have seen them and by far the best. I mean they are always really really good but last night was amazing.

The first band, Chin Up Chin Up, were pretty good. I liked the actual music a lot but the singers voice got boring after awhile. I'm going to download some of their stuff and give it a try.

The next band was The Never Seen or something like that. They sucked and me and my friends went and chilled on the couches out in the rec hall. The Vera Project is a really cool venue by the way. Holds like 320 max and I'd say there was about that many there last night. Not a bad place to stand in the whole place. The most you can be away from the stage is like a hundred feet against the wall lol.

Then came Minus the Bear, the band everyone was there for. They are so fucking clean sounding live. They are on point musicaly wise like 99.9% of the time, sounds like what you hear on their CD's. They played a great mix of stuff, all the way from their first EP's up until 3 new songs. Let me be the first to say, the three news songs might just be the best stuff I have heard from them to date. They played Dr L'Ling which RJ posted up awhile back and two songs that I can't recall the titles of. One of the other new songs, was so fucking amazing. They played my favorite song by them, Pachuca Sunrise, to "end" the concert. It was fucking awesome. Then after about 5-6 minutes they came out and played a 3 song encore ending that with my 2nd favorite song from them Absinthe Party at the Fly Honey Warehouse. All in all they played for just under a hour and a half.

I was able to get a free silk screened poster from on the wall (they were selling the same poster for $10) and I bought Menos el Oso on vinyl. I think after hearing the three new songs that Planet of Ice is now my most anticipated album of the year, it comes out August 21st.

Alright, back to TFOT...

Between Hopesfall, TFOT, Porcupine Tree, Circa Survive(almost here),Dir En Grey, Blond Redhead...its been awesome so far. What else has come out this year that Im forgetting??

All this neo-"hardcore" shit makes me sick. My friends band played with that band you're talking about and there were all these 15 year old scene-boppers. This frantic screamo shit makes me sick! Smoke a bowl and do some doom, bitches!

Fuck, I change my mind. Not a single bad song on this album. There are ones I don't like as much as others but I can let it play all the way through. It's prob. my favorite release of 07 now. I even actually really enjoy Cut Down the Tall Trees... now. Go figure.

9.75/10 (not really feeling Caught Up too much. Not a bad song at all but kind of kills the flow of the album IMO. If it wasn't on it the album I'd give it a 10/10.)

Oh yeah and Matt Bayle did a hell of a job producing the album.

I wonder what Camby's take on the album is going to be when he gets back on here?
