so I was just watching sportscenter and when talking about Culpepper signing with the Lions the announcer said something like "he must have wanted to play football REALLY bad"

which must be true.


The Detroit Lions are a fucking joke, and outside of Barry Sanders and their entrance into the Playoffs with Frerotte (I think in 03'?) my city's football team is straight garbage. I almost want them kicked out of the NFL altogether.

Which brings me to my question: why in the hell can't this franchise improve? Since my birth I think they've made the playoffs only twice, and are a running joke among NFL fans.

discuss. Or at least find funny pictures making fun of their terrible football plays.

A true fan in any sport = a person who supports a garbage team for many many years and has always been garbage, yet lives in hope their team will get better.

To you sir, I take my hat off and wish your team all the best for the future. :)

me obviously cause I started following NFL a year ago..

NFL is not the only sport in the world son, I have been a Dragons (rugby league) fan since 1980 (birth) the last time we won a premiership was 1979 and have sucked since, comming close on a few occasions to fail at the last hurdle. Yet next year we will have a champion coach who has promised us he wont leave till he wins us a title D:

not as bad as being a lions fan, but close..

calvin johnson needs to switch teams. he isn't going no where on that team. he's got talent and it seems to be going to waste.
