At least their listening to his music.... Because they wouldnt of heard of him w/o the d/l.
exactly. now lets say... someone who has NEVER heard of tech obviously has never bought a record or D/Led a song by tech.

now lets say this SAME PERSON tomorrow somehow downloads a bootlegged copy of Sickology 101.

worst case scenario... he dont like the music and junks it.
best scenario.... he loves the music, tells his friends, generates more buzz

now it doesnt 'physically' cost money because there is no cd/artwork/plastic/ink. I just feel like it is a NO-LOSE situation when it comes to file sharing. if i was an indie artist and felt my music was quality and original.... i would push it ANY WAY I COULD. $$ is generated all sorts of ways including the live shows and merchandise. Album sales still can be generated!! especially if some sort of bonus disc or artwork was included. Ultimately its all about the music.. IF ITS GOOD. PEOPLE WILL PAY FOR IT

Germany
I pre-ordered already but can't find a link. guess I'll have to wait..but it's so hard haha (nh)

I actually pre-ordered with 7 other people here from Germany who probably wouldn't have heard of Tech if I hadn't d/l Absolute Power through the FTI movement, just to pick up the point that was stated earlier.
But on the other hand who knows what would've happened.

The top one literally frightens me.

That FTI thing hit hard in Germany... It's funny that they spent money on tv time back in the day to say "Fuck the Industry, download my shit for free", and now you need to be all shady about sharing links.

There's a difference between an artist offering their album for free on their website and people spreading a "Leak." That being, one is legal, the other is not.

its hard to say which is the worst song on the album...for me its like a five way tie between "creepin", "ghetto love", "we kixin it" "let me in" and "in the air" but i think the all around shittiness of "let me in" inches it out ftw for worst song imo

Creepin' was dope IMO it brought back that whole Everready/Seven vibe I felt the album was lacking... it was no lyrical masterpiece as the album concept suggested but taking into account less than half of the album didn't live up to that, what was?

after three thorough listens the weakest tracks were Let Me In and Ghetto Love... the beat was straight and verse were decent for the most part but would have to be up there solely for having one of the weakest hooks I've ever heard... that track gets skipped solely for that reason alone.

and I felt Party and Bullshit was one of the only decent club tracks the not-so known features did justice on, 1st two verses were pretty straight and Shadow did his thing on the last verse

Sickology, MWC2, Blown Away, In The Air, Red Nose and Far Away were the standout cuts... tech's verse on Dysfunctional was dope too.

overall it was pretty solid but didn't live up to the albums concept which should've had the same direction as MLK... a collabo's album
