No credit to Stevie for the track. Just that dude singing on the hook with that lame ass name.

Boo.
Perhaps that's because it's on a KC station, and Bishop is a KC artist whereas Stevie is not. I find that Bishop is on it to be a more important detail than Stevie aswell, given the past. There's going to be a video for this track as well, it would seem.

That info would have been good for people to know about a little while ago.

Jumpin' Jacks featuring Stevie Stone is playing right now.

I'm liking the way this album is sounding. Hopefully it doesn't get all weird and diverge from the direction we've been subjected to so far.
I didnt even know Tech was supposed to be on at all. I was going home after a card game tonight...turned on the radio and Kutt was on talking up his song.

Normally we would have had 2 threads on this already...wheres Mich and Rmiller at lol...

It was nice to hear some new info about the album and the upcoming Summer Jam and Jumping Jacks was an awsome bouns for listening till the end...

Good shit

Out of curiousity, what Kutt track(s) did they play, and did he have anything to say about his album and shit? I missed the beginning (more-so than you).

Im not sure I only heard the end of the song and when they told the name I was getting out of the car.

That's a pet peeve of mine, though. That, and when a tracklist places features out of order on a song.

If Stevie Stone's on that song and they're promoting it, then they need to give ALL the info for the song to the listeners.

Stroking Biship da don dadda big balla knuckle crusher because he's from KC and negating Stone because he's from Columbia further shows me how inept 103 is, regardless if they're showing Strange love all of a sudden.

Word. I just assumed you were sitting around listening to the radio. I apologize, sir Smitty.

And yet you have yet to mention that Kaliko was in the same boat as Stevie.

Krizz was on the third verse, and wasn't acknowledged as being on there, just as Stone wasn't. You're griping that Stone wasn't credited and have yet to mention Krizz being in the same boat, so it seems your issue pertains more-so to Stone and less "they need to give ALL the information for the song to the listeners."

I cant remember the song name but I know he talked about some of the features. He said E-40 is on there Irv BLH and a few more names I cant recall

The song was dope though. I think this album might help Kutt get to that next level based on what Ive heard so far.

Strange Music's latest release brings together two things synonymous with Kansas City: Tech N9ne and Gates BBQ on "Tech N9ne Collabos - The Gates Mixed Plate". With a list of features that reads like a rap menu - including Devin The Dude, Jay Rock, Glasses Malone, Yukmouth and Stevie Stone, as well as Strange Music labelmates Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun and Big Scoob, the "The Gates Mixed Plate" is sure to satisfy any hunger.
