I guess I haven't entered the cellphone age. I don't even own one. My wife has one, but technically it belongs to her parents. She has had it for a couple of years because it's one of those family plans.

Right now I'm applying for a new job and each application REQUIRES that you put down your home number and cell phone number. They look at me dumbfounded when I say I don't own a cellphone, similar to the reaction you would give your 20 year old friend when he tells you he is still a virgin. They tell me that I have to put one down, so I put hers down even though we never use it except maybe when we go on long drives.

What pisses me off is she will turn the phone on and find a week old message from a company wanting me to return their call even though I clearly stated on the original message I left to call me on my home phone and left my home phone number on the message. It's frustrating that people will no longer call your home phone first anymore. Everyone just assumes that you have a cellphone with you at all times and they will call you on that first. Pretty soon home phones will be obsolete.

GOD DAMN IT, CALL ME ON MY HOME PHONE FIRST!!!

i'm on the other side of the coin...

i don't have a home phone, just a cell phone...i'd be lost without it. i guess it would help if you're married...but i wouldn't be able to accomplish anything, trying to meet up with folks when i'm out at the bars and stuff...or if i get lost trying to find a house...

it's 2007 buddy...step your game up...at least get a bootsy little prepaid phone

The other day I went on a hike and we were at the end of the hike and looking down at the view and there was the dude up there talking on his fucking phone.

Thats what I will never understand is why people feel its necessary to talk about complete bull shit all the time.

I would never be able to live without my phone, I just cant stand the bull shit people talk about and broadcasting it to everyone around them.

So the best reason for getting a cell phone is "to step my game up"? Well, you certainly convinced me. I'll run right out to Circuit City and buy one right now. Is that the same line the salepeople use?

my pagers would always start to break the same way, the top line would go away first, so I couldn't tell if shit was a 7 or 1...I never had the sideways ones like enserio posted, those were for the "big ballers" lol
