"Don't believe the hype" as public enemy would say.

Tonedeff = backpack rapper on speed. His style is like benefit.... multi-sylable rhymes that don't convey any meaning but they sound good. Add in some metaphors to the mix and there you have it.... tonedeff

At least benefit talked about shit like getting mario some pussy from the princess. tonedeff is just rediculous

The #9............
typical pregnancy cycle in months. Typical number of buddhists involved in important rituals. The Nine Days ( Tisha Ha Yamim ) of the Hebrew month of Av are a time of mourning before the 9th day of Av on which both temples in jerusalem were destroyed. Highest single digit number, symbolizes completeness in the Bahai Faith. Norse mythology shows odin hung himself for 9 days from an ash tree to learn the runes. 9 of the 10 lepers healed by jesus did not express thankfulness to him. Japanese consider 9 to sound similar to the words for pain or distress. There are 9 forms / attributes of the chinese dragon that sybolize magic & power. The dragon often symbolizes the emperor. In classical music the curse of the ninth is a death superstition regarding composers. geometric enneagram, 9 lives of a cat, cat o' 9 tails, 9 is the number of the mythic Lords of Time, the number representing the original Mayan galactic masters themselves. 9 = Magic number of the Maya. All relevant numbers compound to 9 (except the Special Number 260). ninety-nine names as revealed in the Holy Koran. In the I Ching, 9 is the number of Yang. Arabic Ta (Secret Knowledge ). Number of absolute completion, perfection and wisdom. Since the ennead is the final limitation, it is the acceptance of solitude and the beginning of the inward journey to the Infinite. There are nine gifts of the Spirit listed in I Cor. 12:8-10. Wisdom, knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, kinds of tongues, and the interpretation of tongues. There are nine underworlds each ruled by a God. We find this reference to "nine underworlds" present in many cultures and beliefs. Author Anton LaVey wrote works such as the 9 satanic statements, the 9 satanic sins, & was voted to be doktor by the church of satan's council of 9. 9 planets, 9 judges, 9 deities of the ennead.

Aaron in the bible....
his family were zealous, even to violence for the national honor and religion, and Aaron no doubt inherited his full portion of this spirit. When moses dipped out Aaron remained to share the hardships of his people, and possibly to render them some service. Aaron was a spokesman and became a representative for his brother who he met up with out in the wilderness. Under the guidance of moses he performed miracles which confounded Pharaoh and his magicians. The people appealed to aaron to lead them all back to egypt. planned and erected "the Tent" tabernacle after which he and his sons were formally inducted into the sacred office which aaron alone was anointed with the holy oil. Aaron alone, the high priest, the mediator of the old covenant, could enter the holy of holies, and that only once a year on the day of the atonement. The sacred office of aaron required physical, moral, and ceremonial cleanness of the strictest order. Dan and Reuben leaders conspired a revolt against aaron and moses but were subdued. Aaron under moses command rushed into the midst of the plague sufferring rebels with the lighted censer, and the destruction was stayed. The devine will of choosing aaron was then attested by the budding of his rod. Aaron died at age 123 on the mount and was honored by the people with both grief and love for thirty days of mourning.

Aaron in the dictionary............
the older brother of Moses, usually regarded as the first high priest of the Hebrews. Ex. 28; 40:13–16. In the Bible, the elder brother of Moses who helped lead the Hebrews out of Egypt. masc. proper name, in O.T., brother of Moses, from Heb. Aharon, probably of Egyptian origin. The Arabic form is Harun. While Moses remained on the mountain with God, Aaron returned unto the people; and yielding through fear, or ignorance, or instability of character, to their clamour, made unto them a golden calf, and set it up as an object of worship (Ex. 32:4; Ps. 106:19)

The Angel of Music.......
Little Lotte loved when she went to sleep, to hear the Angel of Music. The angel of music played a part in all daddy daaes tales. He maintained that every great musician, every great artist, received a visit from the Angel at least once in his life. Sometimes the Angel leans over their cradle, othertimes the angel comes much later because the children won't practice or learn their lessons. Sometimes, he does not come at all, because the children have a bad heart or bad conscience. No one ever sees the Angel but he is heard by those who are meant to hear him. He often comes when they least expect him, when they are sad & disenheartened. Then their ears suddenly perceive celestial harmonies, a devine voice, which they remember all their lives. Persons who are visited by the Angel quiver with a thrill unknown to the rest of mankind. Little Christine asked her father if he had heard the Angel of Music. But Daddy Daae shook his head sadly; and then his eyes lit up, as he said: You will hear him one day, my child! When I am in Heaven, I will send him to you!

The ninth letter in the Hebrew alefbet is tet - ט. The letter tet - ט has the numerical value of nine. The least common letter in the Torah is a Tet. Tet ט, represents the 9th sefirah, yesod - יסוד (meaning foundation).

The first tet - ט that appears in the Torah is in the word tov, normally translated as good, but a better meaning is beneficial Genesis 1:4. When it appears in the Torah for the first time, the first letter tet of tov has a very unusual feature. The letter tet, like many other letters in a Torah scroll have tiny crowns extending from them (which kabbalists teach is a hidden language of its own). What is unusual about this letter here is that is has four crowns instead of the usual three. According to the Kabbalist, the B’nei Yissachar, when the four is multiplied by the number nine (the value of the “tet” itself), the total is thirty-six. The word in the Torah used to describe the Hidden or Primordial Light is tov meaning beneficial or good. This demonstrate that the letter nine and the tet - ט represent beneficence. Tov is like the pain of child birth. No one believes that it is good. But everyone believes that it was beneficial because through that pain we receive a new life.

According to the book "Numbers: Their Occult Power and Mystic Virtues" by W. W. Wescott nine holds great significance among many Masonic orders and secret societies. He said, "There is a Masonic order of Nine Elected Knights in which nine roses, nine lights, and nine knocks are used." In fact the number nine is the number of "the earth under evil influences."

In summary, the number 9 is an important numeric symbol to many occult groups and sole practitioners. Unlike the number 13 that almost all people know has some superstitious implications, the number 9 would be considered "just another number" by the average person.

Ancient Occult History and the Number Nine

Ancient Greek pagans held nine sacred because to them nine symbolized the 9 Muses or sister goddesses, daughters of Zeus and Mnenosyne, who were believed to preside over mankind's activities on earth. Their names were--Calliope, Clio, Erato, Euterpe, Melpomene, Polyhymnia, Terpsichore, Thalia, Urania.

Nine was also a significant number to the Etruscans. These ancient pagan people from north west Italy worshipped nine gods. Nine was also a holy number in Rome. According to Texe Marrs, "the Romans honored the goddess Nundina by holding a purification ceremony for male infants on their nineth day of life. In addition, every ninth year the Romans held a feast in memory of the dead."

great info.

That masonic shit is a trip. I have not heard about the order of 9 elected knights. Interesting, I knew of the 3 degrees and the upper 33 degrees but never the order of the 9.

For the last motherfucking time, THE THREAD TITLE IS A JOKE

God-fucking-damn.... some people..

Put it this way, after hearing that Lollipop bullshit, I'd rather put on some Depends and take a massive shit in them while watching Golden Girls reruns, than listen to the Carter III

Cyrus, I give you credit for admitting that you formed an uneducated opinion, but when you come in outta nowhere with bullshit like this:

Back to the topic at hand....... tonedeff might flow fast but there is nothing in the content. That quick flow might be put to better use running auctions or slangin micro machines or someshit. Tonedeff..... whoever said that must be kidding.
:chinese:
then you come off as a moron... at least you actually listened to the tracks I posted...

Now I know that tonedeff hates politics while maintaining an optimistic pervert status. Interestingly enough that's about as far as it goes.
Of course that's as far as it goes... because those are the THREE TRACKS I POSTED! That's exactly what those 3 tracks are about!

And another thing... Tech said he aint ever heard of Tonedeff... he didn't actually talk shit about him, and the only opinion Tech gave was that nobody is as open as he is... so anybody thinkin he talked shit about Tonedeff or his music = wrong.

I swear, sometimes I think I'm committing blasphemy if I talk about somebody I like on here besides Tech... Tech is my FAVORITE SOLO HIP-HOP ARTIST!!!! But if anybody's going to LOSE SLEEP because I think Tonedeff is in the same league as Tech, then you better reach for the Benadryl cuz I aint changing my viewpoint...

I still stand by what I posted even if you deem it to be moronic. I will admit the tracks you posted were better than the old ones I have but I still think that jerky style sounds like an auctioneer. http://youtube.com/watch?v=5oOj1EKSS6M&feature=related

It's all good, you backed your opinion which is respectable. I don't doubt one bit that you believe tonedeff is top notch which is cool. At least you stand by what you post instead of deleting shit.

.... and Rosie O'Donnell is my lesbian lover :lick::lick::lick::lick:

Thoughts after 5 full listens:

CD1

01. Dr. Frazier's Office (Intro Skit) 01:21 - Funny... a fitting start to the album
02. Like Yeah 04:19 - Fuckin great song, if you ask me I'd make this the first video.... 8.5/10
03. Wheaties (Feat. Shawnna) 04:09 - Decent... good track to bump in the ride, not a favorite tho... 7/10
04. Everybody Move 03:38 - Officially sick of this track.... 5/10
05. Get The Fuck Outta Here (Feat. The Popper & Paul Wall) 04:28 - Another one that's decent but not a favorite.... guest spots are just average... 6.5/10
06. The Waitress 04:09 - Eh... another one that's decent... I could see it developing into a skipped track for me tho... still pretty funny.. 6/10
07. Crybaby 04:36 - One of my favorites... my kids love it too, lol... 9/10
08. Shit Is Real 03:43 - Sorry Matic, it's not all your fault, but I cant STAND this track... it comes off sloppy, loud, and just flat-out annoying to me... 3/10
09. Blackboy (Feat. Brother J, Ice Cube & Krizz Kaliko) 04:46 - Lovin the beat, and everybody came correct... did we really need more of that played out shit from Kaliko at the end tho? Oh well... 7.5/10
10. Pillow Talkin' (Feat. Scarface) 03:43 - It's aiight... the beat reminds me of another Tech track, cant think of it... I thought 'Face was lazy on this shit tho, his verse fails to hold my attention, and the hook is just boring... 6/10
11. Pain A Dark Picture (Feat. Dirtball) 04:39 - Awesome track, great hook, beat, and two solid verses... wish there was a second Tech verse instead of all the talking from Mr. Darkness at the beginning and end tho... 9/10
12. Hope For A Higher Power 05:57 - Tech's best, most well-rounded track released to date... 10/10
13. Worst Case Scenario (Skit) 01:51 - blah
14. Psycho Bitch II (Feat. Liquid Assassin) 05:48 - Why the fuck is there a full minute of that annoying bitch at the start of this track? should've been kept in the skit... aside from that, great track... 8/10
15. Poisonous (Feat. Liz Suwandi) 02:42 - My wife likes this track... me, not so much... 6/10
16. Too Much (Feat. Kutt Calhoun) 03:03 - Good way to end the first disc, could've used another Tech verse tho... 7/10

CD2

01. I Love You But Fuck You 05:23 - Solid, seemingly well thought out track.... 7/10
02. One Good Time 04:29 - Wasn't sure about this one at first, but it's grown on me some... good shit... 8/10
03. Drill Team (Feat. Snug Brim, Bg Bulletwound & Krizz Kaliko) 05:16 - I'd rather drill into my skull... 3/10
04. Beat You Up (Feat. Lebowski, The Weapon) 05:13 - average... Big Scoob? come on :( .... 5/10
05. Lets Go (Feat. Kutt Calhoun & Mista Fab) 03:25 - decent at best... 5.5/10
06. Why You Aint Call Me 04:31 - Another one of his "whiny" tracks as some put it... whatever.... I like it... 7.5/10
07. Seven Words (Feat. Skatterman & Krizz Kaliko) 04:53 - LOL... good shit... 7.5/10
08. The Sexorcist (Infomercial) (Feat. Krizz Kaliko) 03:40 - ehhhhhhh... all Killer no Filler? I beg to differ, unfortunately
09. Killa Call (Skit) 00:32 - wtf? come on Tech
10. Enjoy (Feat. Krizz Kaliko & Bosko) 04:05 - fallin off now... 5.5/10
11. Elbow Macaroni (Skit) 01:30 - Jesus Christ, 10 minutes straight of filler!
12. I Am Everything (Feat. Hed P.E. & Kottonmouth Kings) 03:35 - :::yawn::: 5/10
13. Happy Ending 04:44 - Finally, a decent track... I thought I was gonna fall asleep the past 15 minutes... 7.5/10
14. Cant Shake It (Feat. Krizz Kaliko & Robert Rebeck) 03:38 - another one that's aiight... 6.5/10
15. Holier Than Thou (Feat. Krizz Kaliko & Strange Lane Choir) 05:23 - I liked this one... 7.5/10
16. Last Words 04:14 - was hoping for more from this, like some epic shit... but it's not... still solid for ending the album tho... 7/10

so yeah... that makes, if my math is correct, 20 tracks that are AT LEAST solid & listenable... probably 6 tracks that I could see myself bumpin regularly in the years to come... 2 tracks that are just awful... and maybe 5 more that are just average or below average and are probably going to be skipped by me most of the time...

20 decent tracks... not bad at all... could it have been better? yes... is it all killer no filler? fuck no... is it buyable? damn straight

I'll be posting my full thought out review on Amazon on 7/1... maybe by then a couple more tracks will grow on me enough to earn a full 4 outta 5 for the album.

:siccness:

Busta called my house phone earlier and said that MIMS is bracing up for a diss track to Yung Berg for all the production he's doing with his live-in male partner Ne-Yo. Berg called my celly back in response and told me to send MIMS a harsh verbal warning as to how his posse of well dressed metro's will break his spirits like a wild mustang on the prairie.

You heard that through the wire, though.

You sir, are a fucking moron.

Now, before you fly off the handle claiming that I am stalking you, or a hater or some other shit, I have read only one post of yours, the post above this one. My assessment of you is that you lack intelligence, reading skills and comprehension. I am also of the belief that you are not worth this lengthy of a reply, so I will end this.
