i would say there were more quality mixtapes this year than albums...

off the top of my head, bun b - trill OG or Big Boi was the best album. I would also throw Fat Joe's in there too. Eminem's Recovery was good, but i havent listened to it since it leaked pretty well...I've been hearin way too much Em on the radio and pretty much everywhere i go...

Pilot Talk was pretty good, and the first half of the new TI is dope...

As far as bay area, I would say those 2 Mess and Berner albums take the cake


oh fuck i forgot the Roots....top 3 for sure

honestly? there werent really any albums that i was OMG about. i listened to more mixtapes over and over again than any album that was dropped this year. so my vote is for the mixtape game.. and there is a grip of em that i would consider before any album that dropped. 2009 on the other hand..

I wouldn't disagree with that, 2010 was a disappointing year in music. This thread was choosing the best out of all the crap that came out though, and there was actually a few good cd's..

A few albums here and there with a few good songs, nothing I could listen to all of the way thru it. Can't stand rap these days. Same shit, different rapper...
