i know it's mainstream or whatever but nothing stands out to me more than Eminem's Recovery. dude came back from shit to make an amazing album with great content on it. he also signed my favorite supergroup to his label, he pulled out all stops for this year. lets see who shines out of 2011. i'm guessing Tech N9ne will do some big things.

^never thought bout it like that but I actually some what agree wit that statement. There's been a ton of mix tapes that I listened to this year that I thought were actual EP/album material. Annnnnnnd keep in mind that I'm not a mixtape fan at all. As matter of fact, I haaaateeeeed mixtapes but lately I been growin to like em more but still, I dont fuck wit em as much as some folks do.

If some of my fav artists don't put out albums, I'll fuck wit their mixtapes to hold me over til their album(s) come out. The best example for myself is curren$y wit his PT1 and PT2 which both I thought were slappers. Wiz Khalifa wit Kush n orange juice and his latest mixtapes are consistently slappers in my opinion too.
