good shit hes on BET.. but real talk, that song was weak.
that video was weak and weird as fuck.
like someone else said, i would have never guessed hes from Richmond, they didnt rep the bay for shit, i saw an A's hat, thats it.
i really didnt like the song, im pissed cause thats what we get to rep us on BET.... some one ive never heard of with a song i wouldnt listen to in my free time.
we need a real bay artist on that shit. go ahead and say im hatin.. whatever, i didnt like it, if i would have heard it first i still wouldnt have liked that song.
i was excited when i saw this post, then i saw the video today and was really disappointed

the only bay sound i know is good music. its not to the point where u hear a track and be like "aww thats a bay beat" maybe for u it is, but its not to me. most of the new music comin from the bay sounds the same to me anyways.

i didnt like the song, not because it didnt sound bay area enough, because its not a good song.
thats why.. and im not lookin for a hyphy style song, i like all sorts of non-bay music, i just wasnt feelin that song at all.

I also clearly stated that i wasn't hatin. I just responded to the comment made about this being a breakthrough for the new generation Bay artist getting played on BET.

PS why does everyone think that just because you from the Bay you get a pass? I dont care where from, if you make some shit that aint coo then it aint coo. Im not gonna sugar coat shit just cuz you from the Bay.

i keep forgeting that this is siccness.net the only styles of music i can really tell apart is east coast and southern. midwest music and southern sounds the same to me. the bay area does NOT have a disctinctive sound. there is more then 1 style of music going on in the bay area. all i can say is we have good music not all of it is good but the majority of it is. unless u think that "boom, boom, clap, clap" is our style, u have more to learn

We're damn near sayin the same shit cuzzo. I agree the bay has many sounds like i stated earlier. It must just be me or somethin cuz when i hear some bay shit i automatically know its bay shit. Blood, I dont have time to read your other posts, I read the one I responded too. I dont know you and dont claim to know your mentality but what you posted was some crab in a bucket statement. Nobody tells Danny Glover or Tom Hanks they dont act like they from the bay. Nobody tells Keysha Cole she dont sing like she from the bay. Its good that a brotha from Richmond made it to that level. Whether the shit is wack or not ( I havent seen it, like I said). If you really rep the bay and want our artist to come up then its important to support. Its enough people Hatin on us in general for us to not add to it. and before you jump on me, be clear i'm speakin from a position where im on the inside lookin out at the game.
