C-4 and Knocademus were in the building.
There were good and bad things about this event. It was a wonderful event for networking, to be able to have EVERY major and minor factor just about in the Bay Area rap music industry in one place, minus E-40, for them to be accessable to people trying to network, to be able to shake hands, pass out promo, take pictures, video, whatever, was a truly great thing. And even though we shouldn't have to be, it's sad that we're so happy about this, it's a true fact, it was great that there was no violence. To have that many people, even when things went wrong and nothing jumped off, great.
On the other hand, as far as it being a well organized professional awards show, it just wasn't quite there yet. All props are due to Booyowski and his camp for taking the time and putting in the effort to do this and hopefully the kinks can be worked out for future events like this. It was very great how they had it set up, don't get me wrong, the stage was beautiful, big screen in the background, nice theater, and the awards themselves were very nice as well. But once again, it was just cats that don't know how to act, that ruined a lot of it. The problem of the whole night was crowd control and security. If they could have kept the stage clear, it would have probably gone off perfect. Ignorant fuckin people just have to get up on stage in front of crowds to show out, and rep their turfs, people need to know how to fuckin act, like they got some sense.
I would like to say from me myself, and my camp, Endless Hustle Entertainment, Unleashed Entertainment, thank you to Booyowski and his camp for putting this together, and thank you to all of the artists, producers, labels, industry people and fans that came out to support this and kept it peaceful.
