No disrespect to the thread starter, but to bring the Bay back, the sales need to be there along with the quality of the music. Quinn has never sold more than 30K and Clyde has sold NO records on his name alone yet.

^^^^first off, i did that to get people to read it, and a lot of other threads on this forum are started off that way, haha. but seriously, i thought of these two rappers working together because they have the most potential. yuk and mess are done rapping, come on, all they do is recycle shit now. these two people are still fairly young and would work HARD to sound great on tracks together.

San quinn is past his prime and he is not marketable enough. Mess and yuk may have not dropped real albums in hella long (even though i dont see how they are 'recycling' they just droppin hella bullshit mixtapes and side projects) but i would still take both of them to rep the bay nationwide over quinn anyday.
And both of them sold and sell more then quinn for a reason they have a style people outside of the bay can fuck with.. and oh yeah they rap on beat

Point blank period-

1. If they worked hard, spent time to put out a real album, it would be dope.
2. people would buy it.
3. and it could just be a kickstart for the bay, it doesn't really have to blow the bay up, it could breathe some life into it. they still get a lot of radio play. i hear way more clyde and quinn songs on the radio then yuk/mess. Ya'll cant argue with that.

So radioplay determines how talented someone is ? In that case the Luniz had more radioplay then quinn ever had and ever will have ?... but that doesnt mean shit... Whats even funnier is both mess and yuk sold more records then quinn with less radioplay. And the only reason quinn get radioplay as of late is cuz of his connections with kmel (fillmoe mike, box kev, big von).

Or do you mean they will sell more records based on them getting more radioplay ? Incase you didnt know (check the soundscans thread you will see its the rapperxin the bay with hardly any radioplay that sell the most records) alot of people that get local radioplay in the bay dont really sell shit. Ill tell you this go outside the bay(la, DC, detroit, kansas city) and ask people about bay rap and see who they will mention after short and 40. Not even hating on anyone just think you are too much of a fan to see this from a REALISTIC standpoint. Ill keep it real i dont think a mess/yuk album would blow the bay up at all just think it has the POTENTIAL to be the greatest group album out the bay in a minute just based on their talent and what they CAN DO not saying they actually will. Cuz both mess and yuk dont seem as focused as quinn when it comes to the rapshit.

I think clyde will be good tho he doesnt need quinn he will do his thing cuz he got something alot of bay rappers lack and that is crossoverappeal.

if a mess/yuk album is NEVER going to come out, then why are we talking so much about it?

u mentioned one thing that caught my eye-"focus". thats what im saying. i think u (the fans talking about mess/yuk) are too used to what u want and what uve heard and nothing about how PRIME This situation is RIGHT NOW. how this could benefit the bay RIGHT NOW (and both of these artists). if done right, it could please a lot of people. im not talking about a pipedream here.

I was thinking that. How about they both put out good albums as individuals that people OUTSIDE OF THE BAY will give atleast 2shits about. They have the talent, but the Bay doesn't support its own artist and leeds to poor sales.
