I think frisco or Seattle will be # 1.

Losing Todd Haley hurts AZ badly IMO. Like when turner left ur organization for the gay ass chargers...

Annnnnd the rams will be the rams. Shit only time they scored was when they had 12 on the field. LOL.

Right now, it's tough to say who will take NFC West. I'm not going to be a homer and say that the Seahawks will win it, even though that's what I want. But I'm just going to let all four teams play all 16 games. Anything can happen.

well Seattle owned that division until last year when they had a ton of injuries

they're back healthy again, and added some pieces as well
They're also older, and both SF and Arizona have gotten better since the last time the Seahawks won the division. Not to mention the man in charge when they dominated this division, Mike Holmgren, is gone and has been replaced by Jim More Jr., who sucks ass as a coach.

In a way I'm just busting the balls of whatever Seahawk fans we have here, but at the same time I really feel they aren't anywhere near as good as some people think they are.

In all honesty, STL is the only team that doesn't have a chance. I'll just leave it at that.

If that happens, cool. I won't hate. They will get their props. But as of right now, we're in shit-talk mode and I think the Seahawks are highly overrated.
So you beat AZ and now you have big britches? It was one game. Dont sit up here and say "you beat the Rams, big deal". Yeah, you're right, because ITS ONE FUCKING GAME in a season of 16 games.

Stats aside, football is about MATCH UPS and ADJUSTMENTS. One team may look ATROCIOUS against a team one week, and come out and CLOBBER another team the next, even if both opponents are similar. It happens all the time in football.

The absurdly premature playoff picture: Week One

The absurdly premature playoff picture: Week One

AFC First-Round Byes:
Pittsburgh Steelers
New England Patriots

Other AFC Divisional Champions:
San Diego Chargers
Tennessee Titans

AFC Wild Cards:
New York Jets
Baltimore Ravens

NFC First-Round Byes:
Green Bay Packers
New Orleans Saints

Other NFC Divisional Champions:
New York Giants
Seattle Seahawks

NFC Wild Cards:
Dallas Cowboys
Philadelphia Eagles

AFC Notes:

• The AFC wishes it could call a do-over on Week One. To who, exactly, am I supposed to give the first-round byes here? Last week's choices, San Diego and New England, were, to say the least, uninspiring. Pittsburgh showed some pretty substantial flaws against Tennessee. Baltimore struggled with Kansas City for much of the game., and one week isn't enough time to get comfortable with anyone else as one of the top two teams in the conference. I don't know what to do.

• I'll give the nod to Pittsburgh, because they at least beat a good team. New England gets the second spot because divisional alignment prevents me from giving it to Baltimore, and San Diego damn sure can't have it.

• The Chargers still have to be a division champion, though. They did beat a division rival on the road, which, at the end of the day, still counts for something. Kansas City's a little closer in the rearview this week than they were last week, but Denver's still a good distance back, despite their "win" over the Bengals.

• The Jets sledgehammered their way into the picture in Week One with their thorough and convincing win over the Titans, perhaps the only thorough and convincing win any AFC team had. I even gave them a few seconds of thought as a first-round bye, but again, I need more time to get comfortable with that idea.

• That same game, obviously, shoved the Texans out of the picture entirely. We may even change the locks on them.

• I didn't want to knock Indianapolis out, but it had to be done to make room for the Jets. Jacksonville's not far out of the picture, either.

NFC Notes:

• The NFC is a lot more clear-cut than the AFC. There's no one here who got their spot begrudgingly. I'm completely comfortable handing all the prime real estate to those who occupy it.

• No changes in the first-round byes here. New Orleans, obviously, earned the right to stay, and while I'd have liked to see more offense from Green Bay, their defense was spectacular against Chicago. No reason to make any changes among the top two.

• Dallas didn't do anything to lose their spot, but at the end of the day, I thought the Giants looked better. Philadelphia, obviously, looked great, too, but I'm going to give the division edge to the team with the healthy-ribbed quarterback.

• Knocking on the door in the NFC: Chicago and Atlanta. Standing somewhere just off the porch, waving in a friendly manner, is San Francisco. No one's about to let them in, but we have noticed them through the window.

that looks pretty accurate, besides i could see the titans and chargers not making it... and if the cardinals can pull their heads out their asses i can see the cards in the playoffs...
