Well, here we go. Presenting, once again, one of Shutdown Corner's finer traditions, the absurdly premature playoff picture. It starts right now, and I'll be updating it every week until the playoffs are actually set.
It's not "who would be in the playoffs if they started today," but instead, my current playoff predictions based on what I've seen. In the case of this one, Week Zero, it's based on last year, my own personal hunches, whims, and woman's intuition.
A week from now, it'll be fun to see if I can avoid making knee-jerk reactions to odd Week 1 results, and eventually, we'll see which teams I'm clinging to for way too long. And on the extremely, extremely, extremely long odds that this happens to be right come the end of the season, I'm never going to let you hear the end of it. Tales of my greatness/luck will be told for decades. By me.
More likely, though, I'm way off and will end up taking a savage beating in the comments over the next four months or so. Fire away, gang.
