That organ sound that Ric Rock pimps in all his shit

I know his bass sounds come from this old sound module. It looks like it came out when MIDI first hit the scene. Thats old. I know he has a mo phatt (or planet phatt I cant remember) and I did see a proteus in his rack. He has an mpc and karma (when I was at the compound he played from the karma) so it could be from that. Do you have a specific song in mind?
He can make slaps but he has the WEIRDEST stuio set up I've come across. You'd have to see it to know what I'm talking about.

Yes I can describe it because I've been to the spot. Why would you ask a question like that?
1. I've ***NEVER*** saw someone monitor from PA SPEAKERS yes they are mackie speakers but pa?!?!? Not only that but the speakers weren't even placed in the proper position.
2. He has a pro tools rig (digi 001) and still uses ADATS (had to of them hooked up with the remote control thing a ma jig)
3.WHERE the gear is positioned. He has the console and to the right of that is rack gear. Basically it's not a symetrical set up.
4. They use the closet for Vox but he should gut the closet and bring it out more. He could do that with sheet rock, thermafiber and the proper screws. It's impossible to get inside the closet and close the doors.
He has a nice size room but you would think it would be more to it considering WHO he is and WHO he has done music for. At least thats what I thought.

I'm not defending myself against you because like I said YOU don't know what you're talking about and when the man DOES decide to upgrade guess who he'll most likely speak to? Me not you.
How can you logically say who knows XYZ? Common sense would tell you that if the man has DRUMS (which REQUIRE at LEAST 5 mics) he MUST upgrade. WHY? he doesnt have drum mics, in fact he doesnt even have 5 mics. Common sense would tell you if he wants to use his drum set he should change the equipment placement in his room. Why? Drums should be in a TUNED room (if possible) and isolated from everything else to prevent BLEED and LEAKAGE. Common sense would tell you ADATS are basically phased out (meanign they are no longer supported) and a waste of time when compared to a proper working DAW.

Last but not least I know EXACTLY how much Denton charges at Infinite studios and it aint cheap. With the money spent on mix downs Rick could EASILY revamp his studio, get an in house engineer (sort of like how E-40 does at orange room), and NEVER have to go outside of his lab to mix.
