Take africa for example. Poverty in Africa increased by 50% between 1994 and 2000. You can thank the IMF and World Bank for that, as well as many big amerikan business.

The IMF and World Bank blocked the government from raising the minimum wage and then demanded the privatization of profitable public companies which generated revenue for desperately needed services. The IMF forced Haiti to cut government services by half, in spite of a the horrible living conditions, all this so U.S companies could make millions. Thank you, rich ruling elite!
