So 40's video has already seen the most of the MTV and BET coverage.

It will soon go from a few plays to about Zero plays, and the radio will follow.

"It's a Slumper" or several other songs would have been 1000x better to put forward as singles. A mediocre track that was not all that catchy or good was placed in the forefront as representing a movement.

Somewhat sad that the people who predicted this such as myself and others were few and far between.

Anyways, keep up impossible and ridiculous dreams of Worldwide Hyphy. Just know it will not *ever* happen.

How can he put "Its a Slumper" out as a single? That was Turf Talk's first single already. 40 is doing just fine, the numbers will continue to grow. U and Dat video is soon to drop. Stop expecting some commercial Kanye West or 50 Cent numbers, thats not whats going to happen. Keisha Cole sold 90k her first week and now she's platinum.....

Me personally, I'm just happy seeing The Bay getting some exposure on that level.

Maybe our definitions of success are all a little different...

U out ya mind....that song is easily the biggest song from the West since How we do and Drop it like it's hot, and they play it EVERYWHERE. It is a few songs that may be better to us who have been familiar with the movement, but for this song to be somethin that is probably the first hyphy song 95% of America outside of the west will hear, it was a PERFECT single. I haven't heard so many people singin a true west coast song in a looong time, and they react to it like it's their own. This song has people who had never even heard of hyphy or goin dumb/stupid and all that doin it whenever it comes on.

from what I seen, E40 has been successful with his new shit. Of course the weight of the west coast cannot be carried by one veteran rapper trying to represent but he busted that barrier that has allowed more people to recognize what the bay is doing. I don't give a flying piece of shit if tomorrow MTV throws his video out of rotation, the fact remains 40 did what he was supposed to, now its up to the young rappers to stop being so narrow minded and step it up.
Seriously,
this shit reminds me of FORREST GUMP when it's his first day of playing college football and they hand him the fucking ball, the son of a bitch just stands there like an idiot with the pig skin in his hands before he takes off after they tell his ass to run with it. SToP bitching and do that damn thing.

man i think 40 is doin big thangs write now. but i can kind of agree that Tell Me When 2 Go was not a wise choice to use as his single. its koo if you are trying to reach the ears of your fellow yayareans... but think about it for a minute... can you picture sumone in Wisconsin or Maine in their Jeep Cherokee singin along GHOST RIDE THE WHIP GHOST RIDE THE WHIP... DOORS OPEN MAYNE DOORS OPEN MAYNE.... or even THIZZ FACE THIZZ FACE...

i think a wiser choice would have been to go with the E-40 Ft. T-Pain... the e-40/t-pain song gets just as much requesting if not more then Tell Me When 2 Go... and i think that the e-40/t-pain song would have built a stronger fan base where e-40's fanbase is somewhat weak...

furthermore... keak da sneak as a feature on your single can cause you more harm then good... dont get me wrong im a big keak fan... but keak is an artist that you either like or dont like... there's no in betweens with him... now someone who isnt from the bay have a hard time understanding him or even relating to what he is saying... i have heard from alot of people... "that tell me when 2 go song is tyte but kinda lost me when the second guy was rapping... woulda been better without him." at least t-pain is somewhat neutral and better known...

i dunno just my opinion... everyone has one right?

You know I had my doubts at first but fuck it. 40 is doing aiight and Tell me when 2 go was a perfect first single. He came out hard on that. We have enough songs for stupid bitches that go clubbing 4 nights a week. I'm sick of songs for females, fuck that. The video is grimey and what hiphop video's are about. The streets. No miami, no club shots with models none of that. Fuck all of that. Now that he has the streets attention he can move on with his U and that song, for the dumb ass broads that know nothing about music and the faggots who like to do the laffy taffy.
