I used to dl because I didn't have a job and wanted to hear it so i could support my artist later....rather than not hear it and forget.
Also if they don't pre-order and they decide to dl it before it comes in cause they're so anxious.
considering that it's only 'part' of the video and that it's strange could mean a lengthy process...
but if they want to make a smart decision and prosper from promotion and make better of the previous numbers the obvious would be to release prior to the drop date
..I've been saying this for a second...even with MLK, we saw promo like..three months or so in advance..and that wasn't heavily promoted outside the midwest.
Yes, in that Stockhound interview. However, next day or so, Pre-Order goes up with the incentive of "Take It Off," so is that what he had in mind when stating that? Never know.
Still don't see why they wait til last minute to announce these things. They asked for 50 extras for the photo shoot, got like 20 because they dropped that news they day BEFORE the shoot. Man, give at least a week's notice and they could probably get how many they need for these things.
