I'm not going. My brother just made plans for me on the 13th in Branson, so I won't make the trip. That also puts my Columbia show on stop, too. I'm a little pissed.

Family is one of the most important thing to me EVER. Although missing something like a show sucks, enjoy the time with your family, as anything could happen to interupt that at any time.

That's true.. But there are some family gatherings that I avoid with the excuse of "I have to go to this 'Pump me full of AIDS with your spiky dildo up my ass' party'... and I can't make it"... because I hate them so much.

It's not like that, dude. Family comes first to me, but he wants to go to some fucking world softball tournament and decided to plan his daughters birthday on the 13th rather than on her ACTUAL bithday which is two weeks before that date.

He's just being a fucking asshole. The other portion of my family taking this weekend adventure aren't pleased about it, either, because it interferes with their summer trip.

It was a tool move for him to throw it on that day, and try to use his daughter as the middle ground on his hater bullshit.

That makes sense though. When i see people (ah hem) that will ditch important moments for a show (or worse) it irks me. Now i have family members that do the same as what you mentioned above, but more than likely ill still attend a what theyre planning over a tech show, or a birth in the family... (AH HEM)
