I'm pretty sure that artists are a part of "the industry".
When it comes down to it, the only way it wouldn't be anti-FTI, is if the song is free, and doesn't get airplay, yes? Regardless of who does the song with Tech, if it goes onto a major label release and then gets on the radio, it's gone through "the industry".
To me, the "industry" has more to it than the PD of a radio station. By the time that track gets recorded, it's been in the hands of a hundred industry kats.
And I'm sorry but I thought Violet Brown is an industry legend, right? But your label is interviewing HER. ::raises an eyebrow::
I don't give a fuck about all that though, just find the discussion interesting. I just don't think Wayne deserves SHIT, let alone Tech on a track. He sucks so fuckin' bad he should be paying for a verse just like everyone else. I can probably pick 4 singers off the damn Disney channel who are more "mainstream" than Wayne that I'd prefer to hear on a track with Tech.
You know why? Tech is going to kill the whole track, and Wayne is going to mumble through it like a fagot. Then all the kids that like Wayne and the guitar that's never plugged in, are going to talk about how Wayne murdered Tech.
But now I see that if I say KOD was a dope cd I'm sucking dick. Back in the day you used to send me free merch to walk around and talk about how dope your albums were. So who's changed?
From now on if you drop the best album in decades we'll make sure to say it's mediocre. That makes a ton of sense. And you flat out MADE THAT ALBUM FOR US. You made DEMONS a straight up SICCNESS joke that we've kicked around for close to ten years now. We weren't supposed to like that album? "All the kids with the siccness been waiting for this shit".
I'm not angry, Tech.... just disappointed.
lol.
