It's as if he thinks of the "fans" on Siccness as being haters or constantly taking shit except on certain times. Truth is, his fans on here are no different from, say, the ones on his own site.

When TGMP leaked, a lot of folks on TRTN site didn't like it either. I was reading "worst tech album ever" on there before I read it here. I fall in the category of putting that album in the "OK" box. 3 mics. etc. It's not about the party/sex tracks. He ALWAYS has these songs. Even snuck a club track on K.O.D. It's the fact that he's done way BETTER party/sex tracks. I don't like all of the sex tracks on MLK, but those were better than some of the ones on TGMP.

It's not black and white. It's not either "the dark shit" or "the party shit." It's actually much simpler: quality. Don't knock the ones that made you rich just because we don't like you latest album as much as others. It's a more basic sounding form of regression than what we were expecting, regardless of content.
Exactly I have no problem with party tracks in general it's the execution of these new party tracks that seems simple and unoriginal. More than anything Tech can and has done better so the new album is disappointing at best.

Nice Interview!

I'm glad he called everybody a bunch a dicksuckers.

The Siccness really is full of them.

I didn't think KOD or Mixed Plate were all that great TBH

They both just sounded like commercial southern BS like xx0816 said.

But honastly they're just not MY style...Underground style.

Fact is he's trying to blow up and be the best artist in the world...cuz he is..or atleast 1 of the best.
The sad truth is that this kind of sound he's doin these days is what is popular with the younger crowd and commercial simpletons and it does sell more records.

It doesn't matter to me what the mood of his music is weather it's dark or party shit cuz I know he still gunna spit hella dope.

When you start pumpin out albums every quarter like Strange do it's to be expected that people are going to complain,It don't matter how good the Steak is if all you eat is steak it's gunna get old.

I do hope that he contiues his success all the way to the top! Than we can have real talent controlling music today. I'd like to see him at the point where a million heads are waiting to cop his album and he just drops the dopest shit ever.

I would like to see him get out of the beats he's usin and shake that southern commercial sound...but if it's what he's gotta do to make it I aint mad at him...i'll just buy his old shit n wait for the new shit.

Jay Rock on Strange would be SICK.
I'm down with that and as far as Gates Mixed Plate
again people we just have to take it for what it is. Even Tech has to respect some people hate it and some people love it...it's pretty much a party album not too original but average.
I'm just happy we keep getting more & more Tech music.
I'm looking forward to the possible Lil' Wayne collab and more Jay Rock collabs!

I'm pretty sure that artists are a part of "the industry".

When it comes down to it, the only way it wouldn't be anti-FTI, is if the song is free, and doesn't get airplay, yes? Regardless of who does the song with Tech, if it goes onto a major label release and then gets on the radio, it's gone through "the industry".

To me, the "industry" has more to it than the PD of a radio station. By the time that track gets recorded, it's been in the hands of a hundred industry kats.

And I'm sorry but I thought Violet Brown is an industry legend, right? But your label is interviewing HER. ::raises an eyebrow::

I don't give a fuck about all that though, just find the discussion interesting. I just don't think Wayne deserves SHIT, let alone Tech on a track. He sucks so fuckin' bad he should be paying for a verse just like everyone else. I can probably pick 4 singers off the damn Disney channel who are more "mainstream" than Wayne that I'd prefer to hear on a track with Tech.

You know why? Tech is going to kill the whole track, and Wayne is going to mumble through it like a fagot. Then all the kids that like Wayne and the guitar that's never plugged in, are going to talk about how Wayne murdered Tech.

But now I see that if I say KOD was a dope cd I'm sucking dick. Back in the day you used to send me free merch to walk around and talk about how dope your albums were. So who's changed?

From now on if you drop the best album in decades we'll make sure to say it's mediocre. That makes a ton of sense. And you flat out MADE THAT ALBUM FOR US. You made DEMONS a straight up SICCNESS joke that we've kicked around for close to ten years now. We weren't supposed to like that album? "All the kids with the siccness been waiting for this shit".

I'm not angry, Tech.... just disappointed.

lol.

I don't like how he lumped all his fans into either dickriders or haters but I don't really care. When people have weak reasons, it's normal to resort to straw man arguments. And even though I think a lot of times Tech misunderstands his critics' position because of his deluded god complex, I know that a huge part of his fan base is composed of retards. So every time he makes these huge generalizations, it's sure to apply to enough people.

I just think it's a little ironic how in the end he tries to call out his fans for being young, as if his new music really reflects the mind of someone mature.

You guys take things waaaay too seriously.

And if you look back, he's always made party/sex music like what's on the Gates CD - Planet Rock, Here Comes Tecca Nina, Hydro, Here I Come...that's just off the top of my head. How is he changing???

I think a certain group of his fans are just made because Tech isn't their little secret anymore. You don't like it as much now that he's popular, and giggly little girls, and preppy kids think he's cool.

Thank you! Well said! There are people who like stuff cause its popular and there are people who like stuff cause it aint popular and its different.

You hit it right on the head. People are mad cause it aint "theres" anymore and they feel like they as close to tech

Id prefer if tech was just straight with it and said im doing the collab for the exposure

Yeah cause he couldnt possibly like Waynes music. :cheeky:

Good interview

Tech's always been full of shit, just like anybody in this money-driven world. End of story. So why is everybody acting surprised? Wait for the next illness to come and you'll get a bunch of "Grrrr, I'm angry" tracks.

"It's jet black in my brain
Cuz the hatred you gave me
Has turned me to twisted
You don't like this
Suck my dick
All the kids with the sickness (siccness)
been waiting for this shit"

It seems like either way you have it, Tech is going talk about other guys sucking his dick.

No matter how much Tech tries to make light of K.O.D. and tries to twist it to make it seem like he only pushed the album because people wanted him to, he also claimed that he supposedly "died" to make that album.

So which side is he on? I'll tell you which. He's playing both sides, and he'll easily tell his casual fans to suck a dick, just like he told them on K.O.D. And just like he told all his hardcore fans in this recent interview. I don't suck dick, and that's why I'm not gonna give GMP the attention it doesn't deserve. I said my bit about it, listened to the album a few times, haven't looked back since. Still looking forward to All 6's and 7's, and looking forward to the next "fuck you" to the fans. Keep it coming.
