Stop lashing out at others because you're too broke to buy good headphones.
I haven't used headphones since I was 13. I don't need to carry music with me 24/7, and honestly I've had headphones from a National Wholesale Liquidators that sounded just fine.

I've never been picky about audio quality for the mostpart. I know people around here wont listen to a damn mp3 unless it's perfect cd quality audio.

Whats wrong with that?

Nothing worse than listening to a song at 128kbps....sounds like SHIT.

I own expensive earphones because I like to have my music sound as clear and precise as possible. How is it any different than having a nice stereo system in your car or house?

The difference is, when you're at home or in a car, other people can hear the music. Also, a nice stereo system does more than just play the audio. A car/home stereo plays the actual music, whether it be radio/cd/mp3 etc. Headphones just sit on your head and play the damn music.

If you really gave that much of a fuck about the clarity and range of your music, you'd listen to vinyl. Where the fuck do you go/what is it that you do that you need personal headphones, let alone overly expensive ones?

I bus to work daily, go on trips via plane, listen to music while pooping....

I listen to my iPod's at least 8 hours a week.

I listen to my IPod when I go to work out. I use to listen to it at work. I cant justify payin $40 for headphones. They may sound good but I can spend $40 on something better and keep my headphones from walmart for $12 TOPS and they sound fine.
